"Bundesliga teams couldnt win after dominating competent opponents 2 from 6 points only. Hopefully both can finish the task in Germany" I supose you mean both opponents.

Rennes failed his match vs Betis Sevilla, and normally shuld have won this match easily...even 2-0 after 30 mins more easily. Well, it will be difficult to win in Spain, but it's quite possible if rennes plays the football they usually play.

Now concerning the "draws" it's astonishing that all french clubs draw teams from the Top2 in UEFA Ranking !

It's all in the perspective :!: "Normally," Betis shoulda won this match easily, but they gave up two silly goals early and came back to be in a very good position going into the second leg. If they play the fútbol they're capable of playing against decent teams, they'll pull this off.

And the "perspective" concerning the draws: with two unseeded teams out of three, why is it astonishing . . . etc.

Are these the qualification odds, or the 2nd leg match odds?

Look at the top of his quote. It's in bold letters after you asked him.

Jawohl. I'd have remortgaged my house already on a 1.55 Valencia progress against Celtic.

The 2nd legs odds are less interesting. What interesting are the odds of which teams progresses to the next round.

The odds to qualify:

1.12 Sevilla - Lazio 5.50
1.28 Arsenal - BATE 3.50
1.80 Dinamo Zagreb - Plzen 1.91
1.40 Frankfurt - Shakhtar 2.75
1.73 Salzburg - Club Brugge 2.00
1.02 Valencia - Celtic 15.00
1.17 Villarreal - Sporting 4.50
3.00 Zenit - Fenerbahce 1.36
1.08 Benfica - Galatasaray 7.00
1.01 Chelsea - Malmo 21.00
1.36 Dynamo Kyiv - Olympiakos 3.00
1.67 Genk - Slavia Praha 2.10
1.03 Inter - Rapid Wien 11.00
1.36 Leverkusen - Krasnodar 3.00
1.17 Betis - Rennes 4.50

No odds for Napoli - Zurich, no wonder. Interestingly, Zenit are the only team among the home teams not expected to progress.

The teams to play at home were all seeded, so they are expected to be the better.

Yes, I'm aware of that, but Salzburg and Dinamo Zagreb also lost their 1st legs and despite their disadvantage they're still favourites. Yes, they've the away goal and Zenit don't, still...
I just don't see Brugge or Plzen much worse than Fenerbahce or Zenit much weaker than Salzburg or Dinamo Zagreb. :o
Zenit should have no less than 50% chance, I think.

I agree with you here. Zenit still has at least 50 % chance because overall they are the better team. However an away goal is a big advantage for the return match this team need not be so much careful in avoiding a goal and could eventually play a bit more offensive to equalize the away defeat.
