Yes, Bavarian Cup is still in semi-final stage and currently comeptitive matches will be allowed only after August 31. Also, FC Memmingen withdrew due to economic uncertainty. So TSV 1860 München are finalists. The remaining SF is a redux of last seasons final, Viktoria Aschaffenburg vs Würburger Kickers, set for 01./02.09.

I don't think that DFB-Pokal at Acension Day is well planned because there will be less than 48 hours between the final and 33rd BL round. This will need to have a rescheduling of that matchday just like last year with Eintracht Frankfurt's deep run in EL. Their match was moved to Sunday then.
Following police's demands not to have full matchdays of the 3 top leagues at the fist weekend in May and avoiding the afore mentioned problem, one could have done this:

Semi-finals at 20./21.04.
Final at 01.05., maybe even at 02.05.
Midweek league matchday (32nd) at 11./12.05. just like in 2020.

I have a question about the Bayern Regionalliga is it going to be a full fixture list next season or are they going to play until everyone has completed their expected games from the last season and then enter the 5 game series?

What do yo mean by 5 game series?

The 2020-21 season won't take place because the interrupted one has been extended until 30 June 2021. Therefore all remaining matches will be played, except those against Türkgücü München because left the league due to promotion to 3. Liga. All results of matches involving them are (to be) declared void.
There are 11 full matchdays + 3 additional postponed matches of 5 clubs left. Six of these full matchdays are set for 2020, the other five will be played in April and May 2021. A planned playoff for the best clubs seeking promotion to 2021-22 3. Liga is not fully confirmed.

As these matches can hardly compensate a full season, we will have league cups in each league/tier filling the empty spaces in the calendar. If further issues caused by the virus occur, these league cups will be the first to be either shortend or scrapped. In lower tiers, these cups will be part of the promotion/relegation system. Winners are allowed to be promoted (if they want) and won't be relegated if they were supposed to be by league finishing.
On Wednesday, the format for the league cup of Regionalliga Bayern has been published by the BFV. The "new season" will start with the first three matchdays of that cup. The league will likely resume at September 26.
https://www.bfv.de/news/regionalliga-ba ... ortsetzung
The legue cup winners recieve the first Bavarian ticket to the 2021-22 DFB-Pokal, normally going to the best eligible team of the Regionalliga Bayern.
Every team will have at least 18 competitive matches to play (league + cup) if no/only soft further restrictions occur.

The fist round will see 5 regionalized groups (17 teams: 2 x 4 + 3 x 3) in a double round-robin format. I suppose the return matches serve as a buffer.
Then the best 12 teams playing each other only once within 3 groups of 4 followed by QF, SF and the final. Thes rounds are planned to take place in March and April 2021.
The remaining 5 teams from R1 will form a "consolation group" with the best two teams advancing to the "consolation semifinals" joind by the winners of a playoff round between the 4 worse teams from second round. The winners of the whole "consolation path" plus the defeated finalists and semifinalists of the proper finals will enter the quarter-finals of the Toto-Pokal, the main cup competition of BFV which winners will also enter the 2021-22 DFB-Pokal. The other 4 teams of the QF will be from lower leagues or 3. Liga.

One problem not mentioned on BFV's website is that the reserve teams of Greuther Fürth, FC Augsburg and 1. FC Nürnberg are not allowed to enter DFB-Pokal. I suppose they will be replaced by the best non-reserve team if they would qualify.

The regional cup in Sachsen-Anhalt has been abandoned. 1.FC Magdeburg (being the only 3rd level club among the semi-finalists) will be nominated for the DFB-Pokal.

All licenses for 3. Liga have been granted by DFB, including Türkgücü München despite their unclear situation regading their home ground. They stated four different stadiums:
-old Olympiastadion: only 8 matches allowed for the whole season with 38+ matches
-Grünwalder Stadion: already serving as home ground for 1860 and FC Bayern's reserve ream
-stadium in Würzburg: 300 km apart from Munich, declared their "unconditionally withdrawable venue", home of Würzburger Kickers (2. BL)
-stadium in Burghausen: 100 km, reserve option, home of Wacker Burghausen (Regionalliga)

The club stated that they prefered playing in Munich. Last seasons rivals from Schweinfurt (near Würzburg) are not amused by this "Würzburg solution" calling the whole decision "very dubious".

I'm praying that any team other than Bayern can do it this season, but sadly after Bayern got Sane, I doubt this will happen anytime soon.

Draw for first round of DFB-Pokal on Sunday 18:30 local time. Since the vast majority of the unseeds slots will be decided on 22nd August (Amateur's day of finals, originally scheduled for 23rd May), there will be loads of wildcards. Most amateur clubs will know their potential opponents before being qualified. 84 clubs are still in competition.

32 clubs seeded (travellers):
18 from 2019-20 Bundesliga
14 best from 2019-20 2. Bundesliga

32 clubs unseeded (hosts):
4 remainders of 2019-20 2. Bundesliga:
Karlsruher SC, 1. FC Nürnberg, Wehen Wiesbaden, Dynamo Dresden
4 best eligible clubs from 2019-20 3. Liga:
Eintracht Braunschweig, Würzburger Kickers, FC Ingolstadt, MSV Duisburg, champions Bayern II are not eligible
21 cup winners from all 21 federal federations
3 additional clubs from the most-membered federations (Bavaria, Westphalia and Lower Saxony)

23 entrants are TBD/TBC, only 1. FC Magdeburg is already known due to premature ending of competition.
Bavaria's additional ticket will most likely go to 1. FC Schweinfurt - new leaders of 2019-21 Regionalliga Bayern. Promoted Türkgücü München are now officially excluded from the league. All results (points and goals) from their 23 matches have been annulled.

More news from Bavaria:
- The onetime promotion (pre-)playoff has been officially confirmed. Only clubs who will apply for a license to 3. Liga AND finish this unusual regular season within top 4 are eligible. Therefore, the format depends on the number of teams qualified. Reserve teams of Nürnberg (2nd) and Fürth (5th) are ineligble for promotion. Maybe FC Augsburg's one (9th) too, should the first team relegate from Bundesliga this season. There must be at least one league between teams from the same entity between 1st and 4th tier.
- The creation of additional League Cups in the lower BFV-run leagues (2x Bayernliga, 5th tier; 5x Landesliga, 6th tier) have been confirmed. The winners will then battle for one and three additional promotion slots respectively. The league cups will also serve as qualification for 2021-22 Bavarian Cup. If league cup winners finsh their league at a relegation (playoff) slot, they will stay and the defeated finalists will advance to the final round.
- Amnesty for all players actually excluded for 1-3 matches is granted. So most players will be availble at restart.

Bayern Munich: Branko Zebec, the brilliant, damaged manager who helped shape a giant
By Michael Yokhin

Branko Zebec deserves to be remembered as one of the greatest coaches of his era, and yet his name is largely unknown.

His tactical genius was extraordinary, his unique story tragic in the extreme. Zebec led Bayern Munich to their maiden Bundesliga title in 1969 and repeated the feat against all odds with Hamburg 10 years later.

He significantly influenced the careers of numerous superstars, and Paul Breitner - one of only four players in history to have scored in two World Cup finals - describes him as the best coach he worked with.

Zebec was a tough and complex person who referred to himself as a dictator, yet struggled to cope with his own issues. He was ridiculed for falling asleep on the bench during matches and would appear drunk at news conferences, often making bizarre statements.

His contribution to establishing Bayern as a major force in European football cannot be overstated, but his career - and indeed his life - ended prematurely because of desperate alcohol addiction.

DFB-Pokal update (as of 27.09.2020)

After amateurs finals day with some thrilling matches and shoot-outs and the additional Westphalian playoff and draw, 30/32 ties of the first round have been confirmed.
Some amateur clubs (e. g. Bayern's opponent 1. FC Düren) expressed concerns of losing bargain if they were going to host their matches without (a sufficent number) of spectators. In some cases the host might be switched, 2 cases confirmed

Confirmed ties:
1. FC Düren (V) - Bayern München
MSV Duisburg (III) - Borussia Dortmund
1. FC Nürnberg (II) - RaBaSp Leipzig
FC Oberneuland (V -> IV) - Borussia Mönchengladbach
Bayer 04 Leverkusen - Eintracht Norderstedt (IV) --> change of host confirmed
Chemnitzer FC (III -> IV) - 1899 Hoffenheim
SV Union Fürstenwalde (IV) - VfL Wolfsburg
Dynamo Dresden (II -> III) - Hamburger SV (II)
Eintracht Braunschweig (III -> II) - Hertha BSC
Würzburger Kickers (III -> II) - Hannover 96 (II)
Wehen Wiesbaden (II -> III) - 1. FC Heidenheim (II)
Karlsruher SC (II) - 1. FC Union Berlin
FC Ingolstadt (III) - Fortuna Düsseldorf (I -> II)
1. FC Magdeburg (III) - SV Darmstadt (II)
SV Waldhof Mannheim (III) - SC Freiburg
VSG Altgilenicke (IV) - 1. FC Köln
TSV Steinbach Haiger (IV) - SV Sandhausen (II)
Rot-Weiss Essen (IV) - Arminia Bielefeld (II -> I)
FSV Mainz 05 - TSV Havelse (IV) --> change of host confirmed
MTV Eintracht Celle (V) - FC Augsburg
FC Hansa Rostock (III) - VfB Stuttgart (II -> I)
FV Engers 07 (V) - VfL Bochum (II)
SV Elversberg (IV) - FC Sankt Pauli (II)
SV Todesfelde (V) - VfL Osabrück (II) --> Todesfelde = "Field of Death" :)
1. FC Rielasingen-Arlen (V) - Holstein Kiel (II)
1. FC Kaiserslautern (III) - Jahn Regensburg (II)
FC Carl Zeiss Jena (III -> IV) - Werder Bremen
SSV Ulm (IV) - Ergebirge Aue (II)
SC Wiedenbrück (V) - SC Paderborn (I -> II)
RSV Meinerzhagen - Greuther Fürth (II)

Yet to be decided:
TSV 1860 München (III) or Viktoria Aschaffenburg (IV) - Eintracht Frankfurt
Bavarian amateur champion (IV) - Schalke 04

Bavarian Cup
01.09. - SF: Viktoria Aschaffenburg (IV) - Würzburger Kickers (III -> II)
05.09. - F: TSV 1860 München (III) - SF Winners -> TSV 1860 qualify automatically if the Kickers advance
Bavarian amateur champion to be announced. But since Regionalliga Bayern will restart at 19.09. earliest, almost surely the current leaders 1. FC Schweinfurt will face the "Royal Blues".

Oh no, poor Schalke... So far this pre season has been a disaster. Unless some small miracle happens before the 18th, it's gonna be a very hard night for them.

They finished the season in terrible form, and might start the new one with a very heavy result (s)
