If we ignore Ramos' history, what's surprising isn't that a player who didn't even make the 11 players with most minutes this season at Real didn't make the Spanish NT call. What's odd is that players who really were important at Real this year such as Lucas Vásquez, Nacho or Asensio (this one with almost 50 games this season) didn't make it too. I don't remember if Lucas is injured because I've seen now he last played against Barça some weeks ago, though

Lucas has a knee(?) injury thats why. Asensio imo is very inconsistent not only this season but his entire career. Ramos struggled with injuries at the back end of the season but its not in his character to miss a Euro if healthy. He is either injured still or the manager ddcided he doesnt need him. No idea about Nacho the guy can play any position in defence and has filled multiple times holes for Real.
