CL 21/22 [1/8 round]
This is what happens when the draw is unnecessarily complex.
You could keep it simple and do a 1 vs 16, 2 vs 15 etc and skip the draw entirely. Then 1 or 16 plays the winner of 8 or 9 and so on.

Complaints from Atletico and Vilarreal asking for a redraw. Now the redraw is announced Real are complaining. UEFA throwing the IT company under the bus without accepting any blame themselves.

Lol, at least they can blame an external service provider.

Most of us could have done the draw procedure cheaper for them with pen and paper. "Oi, mates, Villarreal just played Man U already!"

"Past performance is no guarantee of future results."
I always thought that they should do the CL draw last anyway to build up the excitement.

I wanna protest, too. I liked the draw, PSG - MU was my dream matchup. And Real are right to complain, the fuckup happened after they got Benfica!

UEFA don't have an IT department? Hilarious they blame an outsider firm, but this is great circus with 1st class clowns.AlanK wrote: ↑Mon Dec 13, 2021 14:32Hey, man, rules is rules Or maybe not . . .bugylibicska wrote: ↑Mon Dec 13, 2021 14:27 I wanna protest, too. Cant blame Real. One of the best options was drawn for them.
I wonder who decided to "upgrade" the software for this season's draw?
The draw procedure isn't any different in this competition than in previous years when it worked well enough.
