0-1 Serbia, Norway loses promotion and Pot 2.
Are they really choking? Outside of Haaland, who do they really have?
Odegaard, Berge, King, Sorloth, Ostigard, Ajer....
How many elite players does Poland have outside Lewandowski?
I see that you managed to squeeze some turds into that list.

Well, Ødegård. But he is mostly running around in circles as the team isn't as organized as they should be. Yeah. I believe Norway is choking again. As in play offs and any other crucial match for the past 20 years. It is a curse.

I only know half of them. That's not me saying they can't be good, just I only know half. Odegaard's a strange one, King and Ajer seem pretty nondescript.

Iceland are losing and a man down. They're lucky Russia were in their group or they'd be getting double relegated.

That is a bit harsh. The outfield players are from Union Berlin, Gent, Napoli, Rennes, Arsenal, Benfica, Sheffield U, Real Sociedad, Man C, Southampton. It might not be the best in the world. But it should be able to match Serbia in a home game and challenge an A group status in the Nations League. It certainly should be able to qualify for a place in the Euros.

This was my point. They have more or less the same level of supporting cast for Haaland that Poland has for Lewandowski - wth the exception of GK.

Of the players named, I would perhaps give you Odegaard. All the others are not 'elite players'.

There is a lack of leadership. Not that there are no leaders in the team. But I'd say some of those are Ødegård, Haaland, Berge and Østigård. They are 23, 22, 24 and 22 years old. It looks like the main characters just lack the experience needed to cope in those crucial international matches against more experienced teams.

A hole in defence and Mitrovic alone couldn't miss, 0:2!

On that note, it is shocking that the Norway no.1 goalkeeper has been without a club since May.

at least one of our neighbours is working well. The absence of Italy at WC plays those nations into the hands which never could beat Italy in any WC or even EC mainly England and Germany and this almost since 100 years. Publicly they regret the absence of Italy for Qatar but secretly they are very happy about it! that's called hypocrisy.
