Everything happened as expected here. Liverpool won the group and qualified directly to the last 16, Ajax was second placed and yesterday they won in Hungary against MTK so they're in the last 16 too, Rangers was third placed with two wins against Napoli and four defeats against the top 2, and Napoli had its worst ever UYL campaign.

They only needed a short defeat in Scotland to keep the third spot, but they won in Scotland. They avoided being the worst ever Ajax in CL history, while Rangers couldn't avoid being the worst ever Rangers in CL history.
In the other match, Napoli kept the first place despite losing in England.
Now Napoli was "rewarded" with facing debutant Frankfurt in the next stage, while Liverpool was "punished" with facing champion Real Madrid.
A small surprise here, with Napoli winning the group and Liverpool being second placed. Maybe Liverpool can have the last laugh if they can last longer than Napoli in the CL KO stages.
