Who thought Galatasaray would only just be getting over the line v Molde (if they actually do).

Red card for Panathinaikos in the 91st minute, the few hopes for a miraculous comeback surely gone now.

Panathinaikos' return to European Groups will be in the Europa League.

Fun match between galatasaray and molde. Been enjoying it on the TV. Gala just scored a free kick.

Angelino scored with a deflected shot from a free kick in the 93rd minute, 2:1 Galatasaray!

Galatasaray went through but if they play like this in the group stage they will not collect many points...

Braga record in CL qualifiers: 3 qualifications in 3 tries. 4 wins in 4 matches. GS here we go again although it's a lit tougher now.

This didn't aged well:

Or this
Firnen wrote: Wed Aug 23, 2023 21:32 Panathinaikos is more threatening than Braga.

Braga is significantlly worse than Marseille, which begs the question if Backa Topola is at the level of Hamrun Spartans.

They didn't miss this opportunity, Braga are in Champions League again after many years!

I'm willing to bet they don't collect many points before even knowing what group they're be in.

This wasn't convincing at all, but Galatasaray made it to the CLGS! Not once I've seen them impressive, but the main thing is the victory and CLGS! :applause:

Yes their qualification record is really good. CL group stage record not so much.

Galatasaray once again very lucky.

A soft penalty + deflected shot
2 Molde players collided and had to be replaced very early (21')
Cancelled goal for Molde for offside (right decision)

This qualification was more luck than skill based between the easy draws and what happened on the pitch.

Anyway, they added another win for Turkey and bonus points. That's what actually mattered most for me. :grin1:

The good news for Sporting Lisbon: three teams from Portugal are in the CLGS.

The bad news: they are not one of them.
