How does this even happen? Were the players wanting him out, but he gets the new contract so they play for him?
I don't know much about the Olympiakos chairman but his move to give the manager another contract for more time right after losing 1-4 at home to Maccabi Tel Aviv, saying he wasn't to be blamed and the players had to buck up their ideas. Well they certainly did that

It worked last season when he gave Cooper the new contract at Forest.
