However, as @TommyChat said, this season there is a top-four play-off in knockout format to decide the European qualifiers after the regular stage, so finishing in the top three (or any position AFAIK) in the regular stage does not guarantee a team qualification for European football, unless the cup winners themselves are also in the regular stage top four.
Correct. Thanks for feedback.

Larne (one game to go, three points more than Linfield and a vastly superior gd) are Champions of Northern Ireland and will play in the CL qualifiers, while Linfield will play the ECL qualifiers, either ECL Q1 or Q2.

Well they can technically lose 8-0 and Linfield win 9-0 :grin1: I don't think it's different from not confirming a team qualified when they are 15 points ahead with 5 games to go.

And The New Saints can win the Champions League in 2025. People on this forum like to discuss scenario that realistically will never happen, i try to bring a bit of common sense here :grin1:

In England, Aston Villa qualified for Europe after Chelsea lost last night.

They are guaranteed to finish in the top seven, as they can only be overtaken by Spurs, Newcastle and Man United below them. However, since the FA Cup final is between Man City and Man United, and the League Cup was won by Liverpool, even if Villa finish 7th, they will qualify for Europe.

In Bosnia and Herzegovina, Zrinjski will finish in top 3 and have qualified for European Football.

In Austria, Sturm Graz and Salzburg will both finish in top 3 and have qualified for European Football.

In Romania, FCSB have 46 points and is 11 points above Farul who have 4 games to play and 12 above Un. Craiova who have 5 games to play. Since they play each other only one of them can reach 47 points. Cluj can reach 46 points as well but FCSB was the only team in the play offs with no points round up, so they will be ranked first on every tiebreaker which means that they will finish in top 2 and have qualified for European Football.

Czechia: Viktoria Plzeň has qualified for European football next season. They have reached the cup final in Czechia where they will face current league leaders Sparta Praha. Plzeň is 15 points ahead of Banik Ostrava and 16 points ahead of Mlada Boleslav with six games to play. Since they have already won the H2H over Banik Ostrava, and since Banik and Mlada Boleslav still have to face each other once more, at most one of them can pass Plzeň. Thus, the quarterfinalists from this year's ECL has qualified for Europe

In Italy, Juventus qualified for Europe after last night's Coppa Italia semi-finals.

They are guaranteed to finish at least 8th in the league, since Napoli and Fiorentina still have to play each other and cannot both overtake them. As Italy are guaranteed to win an EPS spot and have an additional team in Europe, and the cup final will be played between Juventus and Atalanta, this is enough to give Juventus European football.

In Romania, FCSB qualified for Europe.

The current "real" points (without rounding up) of the top four are as follows:
FCSB - 46 (4 matches to play)
Farul Constanța - 34.5 (4 matches to play)
Universitatea Craiova - 33.5 (5 matches to play)
CFR Cluj - 30.5 (5 matches to play)

So CFR Cluj cannot overtake FCSB.

Farul Constanța must claim all 12 points to overtake FCSB, while Universitatea Craiova must claim 13 points out of 15 to overtake FCSB. However, since they still have to play once against each other, it is not possible for both overtake FCSB. So FCSB are guaranteed at least second place and have qualified for Europe.
