All of those nonseeds could KO Celtic by looks of it.

Could the team that draw Motherwell please

a) get over confident
b) fall apart until the middle of August
c) develop a propensity for amusing own goals
d) try and get as many of their own team sent off

Ta.

I cant see Slask passing any of these.. Only hope is Salzburg and luckily Malko's team. Helsingborg and especially BATE give a small hope..

I wouldn't be so much convinced, that 3rd round is the top of Slask's possibilities. All people are saying again and again how terrible football they've played, I also was one of them and again, the similar like in the two league seasons (first and second places in the league table), Slask's footballers are closing the mouth of critics through the achieving really good result. It seems that simply Slask has proper footballers to this "anti-football", they're really well physically prepared and take advantage of really good Mila's set pieces.

Additionally the board of them from Wroclaw is really close to sign two really, really good footballers, that's Poland's national team central defender Jodłowiec and the striker Vladimir Dvalishvili from Georgian national team, who played really good football in Israeli league and CL Quals of las season. And exactly the striker's position was much problem of current Slask's team.

Summing up - I'm sure they will be able to struggling successfully against Salzburg, Helsingsborg or BATE so who knows, maybe we will see the small suprise and Slask in a group phase of EL.

Seeded
Dinamo (UKR)
Fenerbahçe (TUR)
København (DEN)
Panatinaykos (GRE)

Unseeded
Club Brugge (BEL)
Feyenoord (NED)
Motherwell (SCO)
Vaslui (ROM)

My favoured non-champions 3rd qualification round draw

Dynamo Kyiv vs. Vaslui
Fenerbahce vs. Club Brugge
Feyenoord vs. Panathinaikos
Motherwell vs. Feyenoord

I just love the fact a that a non Celtic/Rangers Scottish side is participating in the CL (albeit qualification), when was the last time that happened?

It was in 2006-07! Hearts had finished second in the league behind Celtic and went into the CL qualifiers. They saw off Siroki Brijeg in R2, but were beaten in R3 by AEK Athens.

Well as usual the non champions section looks more interesting and seems to have the better teams. As long as Slask can avoid Anderlecht who are probably too strong they have got a chance. The other teams are difficult as well but those would be more even matches while Anderlecht would probably cruise in to the play off round. The key for Slask is to make it to the CL Play off round to have a guaranteed place in the EL group stage. This was never really about the Champions League. Call me a pessimist but I would say I am a realist.

Group 2 Celtic and Basel probably the teams to avoid although Celtic do have a tendency to get a shockingly bad result at this stage and go out.

Non Champions, Dynamo Kiev v Vaslui would be interesting. Brings back memories of Shakhtar v Timisoara when it was the Ukrainians who went out thanks to away goals.

Absolutely perfect draw (considering the rest possible rivals), everything is in Slask's footballers's legs now. A lot of luck for Slask, again. Hopefully Ruch will also got a Swedish option.
