I have a blue house with a blue window.
Blue is the colour of all that I wear.
Blue are the streets and all the trees are too.
I have a girlfriend and she is so blue.

I can recommend JoJo Rabbit. It's the funniest movie I've watched in ages!

I just saw first season of Foundation(Apple+)
As I was a great fan of the Asimov books I wondered if I should be excited about it or not, so I postponed watching it.
I now saw it and the serie is good. But it is so distracted from the book(s) that I wonder which parts are in the books apart from the names of some persons and places.
Yes it is hard to create some attachment, as the books are loose stories which happens to be about the same place and with some kind of historical red line in it. But cheating by letting actors travel years in stasis and so they exist 200 years later still, I don’t like it. An AI person is ok, that was close to the book.
Also revealing that Dmerzel is a robot in episode 1 I can live with, although Asimov only wrote that 50 years later to connect Foundation with his robot stories. But the behaviour of Demerzel is so not-Asimov robot that I don’t like that at all.
Also the social logical solution to the social inevitable problem (first crisis) get so little attention, while that is the climax in the book. It’s more that it is resolved as about how it is resolved.
So yes I will start seeing season 2 some day, but I think I would have preferred if it was not connected to Foundation at all, I dislike too much of the connections that still exist.

It's impressive how successful Taylor Swift is at 34! Apart from all her albums, her 2023 movie "Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour" has made 124 million USD with a budget of just 10–20 million USD!

Quo Vadis, Aida (about Srebrnica)
How war can be terrible. how can neighbours kill eachother and now they have to live next to eachother again. How do you do it? On one hand how can you murder civilians just because they belong to a different country, people you sometimes know personally.
And on the other hand how can you forgive those people. The leaders are punished (partially), but so many soldiers participated, how to forgive them. I don't know how the relations between Bosnia and Serbia are at the moment, but it sounds difficult to me.
It took 50 years in my country before any german could be seen as something not related to the nazi's for most people. Maybe the EC victory in 1988 helped. Most people thought that the victory over germany was way more important then winning the final.

btw the UN, incl. Dutch underestimated the situation very much and it is shamefull to see that they just stood by and watched.
