The extra point wouldn`t come, Zenit delivered the 2 points, but the other 3 all lost. Surprisingly Rostov were very close to fetch a point, but a very late goal extinguished their hopes. Krasnodar were very good for about 20 minutes, but then shipped 2 goals from nowhere and surrendered. CSKA were well beaten and looked hopeless. Next round all 4 teams play in Russia, hopefully with better results.

not everything was bad for Krasnodar,Nice defeats opens them the last 32 place,salzburg at home huge game.

let's see if zenit can make the 18,Rostov will have a final at holland to decide who goes to EL....hopefully they will need only a draw there.

As for Cska i can not see them beating anyone nowadays.

Now Salzburg are more dangerous for 2nd spot than Nice, Krasnodar must not lose next game. A draw might be enough, but it depends on Schalke, too, if they field a ``C`` team against Nice... I don`t trust Zenit, they probably throw their last game in Holland...And Rostov probably need a win, unless a 3:3 draw...CSKA might cause an upset, but don`t count on it...A win for Zenit and Krasnodar, a draw for CSKA would be a good return next round, but Russia`s biggest chance if the teams from Portugal perform badly in round 5...

FC Krasnodar 3 - 3 Gazovik Orenburg (Krasnodar were up 2:0 fast, but then Orenburg scored three times in 16 minutes still in the 1st half, then red card for Krasnodar who finally managed to level after Orenburg were also reduced to 10 men)

Salzburg almost managed to sang out the cheese from Krasnodar`s mouth. Thanks to Schalke`s ``B`` team a draw was indeed enough. I hope Krasnodar - despite the fact they`re now qualified - won`t get back from Nice without a point(s). Rostov wrote themselves into the CL folklore, truly a sensational win, now the stakes are even higher to qualify to the EL. Knowing that a point is enough a bit more reassuring than a must win scenario. I really hope Tottenham won`t change their attitude and send a weakened team out in the Wembley. If so, CSKA must capitalize on it, because even if my sympathy rests with Rostov, I think CSKA have a greater chance to go further in the EL. Very difficult to predict Zenit`s approach to the Alkmaar game, but I`d be happy with 4-5 points.

Krasnodar-Salzburg first half was the most terrible experience for me for a long time. I really can not remember when I feel myself so bad during watching a game. Rostov defence become more solid. CSKA needs winter break.
