Top to Bottom Watch: Recently European teams facing relegation

Thought it'd be interesting to keep an eye on which teams that have been in European competitions recently (let's say in the last 5 seasons and still in the UEFA ranking) are now at risk of being relegated.

Of course, a few teams have already been relegated, notably Levante and Newcastle.

The EPL has the highest profile case, where Leicester, who are actually in Europe right now and in the CL R2, are at risk. And it's likely that between them and Hull only one will survive.

The only other case in the top 7 leagues is Nacional, who are in serious trouble.

Netherlands: Go Ahead Eagles
Switzerland: Vaduz (they don't qualify through Switzerland anyway, though)
Denmark: Esbjerg, AGF Aarhus, Nordsjaelland, Aalborg BK and AC Horsens
Scotland: Inverness and Motherwell
Croatia: RNK Split
Israel: Hapoel Tel-Aviv and Bnei Yehuda
Poland: Ruch Chorzow, Piast Gliwice, Slask Wroclaw and Cracovia Kraków
Bulgaria: Slavia Sofia

Go Ahead Eagles played on a Fair Play ticket in EL. It's one of the smallest teams in The Eredivisie, 11.000 fans average, and they would normally never qualify by themselves. Before the start of this season, they already where seen, together with Excelsior, as prime relegation candidate.

Go Ahead Eagles was even already relegated at the time they played in Europe on their Fair Play ticket (2015). They got promoted again directly last season, and are now again 1 of the teams in the bottom end of the Eredivisie table.

- ASA Targu Mures has good chances to relegate (60-70%) . Played last year in UEFA Cup Qualifiers.
- Pandurii Targu Jiu has even more chances to relegate (70-75%) . Played last year and also in 2013/2014 in UEFA Cup.

Rapid Bucuresti played 1 year from the last 5 in european competition - bankrupted, does not exists anymore
Fc Vaslui played 1 year from the last 5 in european competition - bankrupted, does not exists anymore
Petrolul Ploiesti played 2 years from the last 5 in european competition - bankrupted, does not exists anymore

I dont think there is another country with 3 teams who played in Europe in the last 5 seasons to be dissapeared in this moment.

In Bosnia and Herzegovina, FK Olimpik Sarajevo is currently on the bottom of the league with high chances to get relegated although they signed couple of good players for our league this current winter break in hope to secure a nonrelegationplace at the end of the season. They played qualifications for Europe League 2015/16.

FK Borac Banja Luka got relegated last season (2015-16) and currently plays the First league of the Republika of Srpska where they are on the first place with big chances to get promoted. They were champions in season 2010-11 and as such played qualifications for Champions League for season 2011-12. They also played qualifications for Europe League 2010/11 and 2012-13 and secured through league position a place in qualifications for Europe League 2013-14 (that would be four consecutive years of European football) but didn't get a european licence because of financial matters.

Slovakia: Spartak Myjava played last summer in Europa League (against Admira), but they withdrew from the league in december

England: Hull City, Swansea, Fulham (relegated)
Belarus: Gomel (just promoted after relegation last year)

Sweden: Helsingborg who played in the 2012/13 group stage of the Europa League were relegated at the end of the last season. We play summer footie here.
Can also mention that they lost today with 3-0 away in their first match of the group stage of the Swedish Cup, to another 2nd divison team, who also been in Europe in the last five seasons: Brommapojkarna (Fair-play in 14/15)

In Germany, Wolfsburg (#33 in Europe) are in serious trouble after losing 1-2 against Bremen tonight. Having said that, Mainz, Augsburg, and even Gladbach and Schalke aren't safe yet.

Overlooked probably because of the level of football, but Portadown in Northern Ireland are bottom and 12 points away from 11th. It seems they have had points deducted so possibly finical problems are at fault?

InFrance, it seems to be Lorient and bastia who are nearly certain to be relegated. The 17th spot (relegation games) wil be probabbly for one of these teams : Nancy, Dijon, Caen, Angers..

None of those have recently played in Europe... which is the question of this thread.

LesCanaris, no, not recently. But i remember Nancy did some years ago. and Bastia even got to a UEFA-Cup final.
