Well done to a very happy GB women's ice hockey team who came back from the Slovak beating and back from being 1-0 down to beat Slovenia 2-1! :applause:

Should be safe now and can aim for 2nd, to give hope of promotion next time if the relegated team isn't so strong.

As expected, France U18 women were a better team than England, and with a full 70min game they really got to show it. 46-21, and it would have been wider but the France kicker was poor while ours converted all 3 tries. It was 8 tries to 3.

GB lost the final game to the host Latvians 3-2 and finished 4th with 7pts, a good improvement over last year. Slovakia up, Latvia 2nd, Italy came roaring back winning their last 3 games for 3rd, Slovenia 5th, Poland down. The 2pts they got from us were their only pts.

Apr.6. Las Vegas: Vettori - Brendan Allen (poor card)

Vettori injured and withdrawn, replaced by Curtis. Allen beat him in a close fight by split decision.

England win a very tough and tense clash with Georgia 26-19. Georgia led most of it, but England scored the winning try right at the end. England were the only country to arrive at MD3 with 2 wins, so if there is a champion crowned in the U18 Six Nations, it is England. Another team of lions like the U20s, they had to fight so hard to win this match. :applause: :applause: :applause:

Georgia managed to beat France in this tournament, so have given a strong account of themselves.

Just watched now the race after Paris-Roubaix ans Estoril Open.
Was a good race behind the 2 Red Bulls that are in a class of their own. Ferrari faster than McLaren and with good strategy that took Leclerc to 4th and was the main interest on the race. Mercedes ended as 5th team behind this teams and Alonso who did a great race, giving DRS to Piastri to help him defend from Russell. Stroll did a good race considering grid position. Tsunoda scored a well deserved point in his home grand prix.
Alpine, Sauber and crashing Williams are just a disaster. McLaren was a bit a disappointment. Their strategy was a bit 2022-2023 Ferrari

Women's Six Nations, despite the apparent progress Scotland have made, a record, sell out crowd, and poor England discipline, it didn't stop England rolling roughshod over Scotland as they always do, 0-46. Scotland posed absolutely no threat at all to England for Scoring any points, complete dominance, and England scored 4 of the tries while a man down.

Apr.13. Las Vegas: Alex Pereira - Jamahal Hill, Gaethje - Holloway, Oliveira - Tsarukyan, Prochazka - Rakic, Sterling - Kattar, Figueiredo - Garbrandt, Miller - Green (very interesting fights, strong card)

Pereira knocked out Hill in the very 1st round, Holloway badly beat Gaethje in all 5 rounds and even knocked him cold 2 seconds before the very end, Gaethje was disappointing to say the least, but Holloway was crisp and surprised many with his performance, Tsarukyan beat Oliveira with a split decision in a very close fight, Prochazka knocked out Rakic in the 2nd round, Sterling won against Kattar in an unanimous decision, Figuerido submitted Garbrandt in the 2nd round and Green won against Miller with unanimous decision.
