The US men's national basketball team for the 2024 Paris Olympics has been announced. With Stephen Curry, Kevin Durant, LeBron James, Jayson Tatum etc, this could be the best US basketball team since the 1992 Dream Team!

Yesterday the U18 Division 2A ice hockey started. We were up against the relegated team and hosts Poland, so probably the favourite. I put the stream on to see we were already 1-0 down. Disheartening. Poland soon scored again, and before the end of the period, it was 3-0. To my shame, while I kept the game on, I wasn't paying attention. Feeling frustrated and wondering why we can't get our youth teams out of the 4th tier while our main team for a few years now has been (just) good enough to compete in the top tier. But our kids would not give up as I had. In the second period, they scored, and within seconds, scored again. And then at the start of the third period they equalised. Poland retook the lead and we equalised again. But in the end, Poland would retake the lead, and with seconds left and the keeper pulled, scored into the empty net for a 6-4 win. Both our countries are down low here compared to the senior teams. In senior Division 1A last year, both our teams were able to win promotion to the World Championship together. But there can be only one here.

I'm watching them vs Croatia now. We scored while I was typing, but then Croatia instantly equalised.

Croatia took a 2-1 lead, and held it for a while, but again, this team showed they can come back by equalising, and then scoring a couple of late goals for the win.

SIMMONS: Controversial sprinter Ben Johnson holds nothing back in World's Fastest Man

“I know America wants to win that gold medal. When the problem happened in Seoul, when my dad in Jamaica first heard about it, he said ‘The Americans had to be involved.’ The second words he said, ‘The Canadian government has to protect his son.’”

Unfortunately Hamilton got the better start and squeezed Norris wide, dropping him down to an eventual 6th place finish. But while it didn't take Max long to get in front and disappear down the track, Hamilton stayed clear of everyone else. Perez got 3rd from starting 6th, and Russell got up to 8th to grab the last point.

This track is on fire! (Literally, just watch the images from FP sessions with grass burning).

Not bad for a car that doesn't turn!
Good sprint race for Hamilton.
As for tomorrow race, Red Bull dominance, then Alonso ahead of McLaren. Ferrari only third.

Points are made in the race, and so who's on top :)

Weird day for Hamilton, second in Sprint race and a couple of hours later not getting passed Q1 :(

Women's Six Nations, today we had something very enjoyable. At Twickenham in front of a massive crowd of 48,776, and crucially, a very supportive crowd, England responded to the crowd, and England and the crowd were hungry for the entire game. England played some brilliant rugby and very quickly it became rather than a contest vs Ireland, a contest between England and the minute counter. England and the clock traded the lead many times and England ultimately prevailed with an 88-10 win! Loved it.

Supreme victory. Wonderful to see England play like this before the trip to France next week. :applause: :applause: :applause:
