SPL fixtures are out:

Baptism by fire for Gerrard. Aberdeen away MD1, Celtic away MD4. Also a third away game in that period, Motherwell on MD3.

There's a blast from the past in Scotland, Kenny Miller is player-manager of Livingston and has scored in the League Cup against Annan.

Ridiculous numbers for Hamilton and Livingston, I hope that Dundee United will get the promotion.

Livi and Hamilton are where they are on footballing merit. But yes, if Dundee Untied and Dunfermline were promoted at the expense of Livi and Hamilton the Scottish Premiership would be ridiculous in terms of attendance numbers.

There is one game in the league cup to play. The group winners and the top 4 runners up go through. Our friend Michael's Thistle occupy the fourth runner up spot. The last match is Hearts vs Inverness tomorrow. He needs Inverness to avoid defeat or Hearts will top the group and Inverness will take a top runner up spot, knocking Thistle out. Unless Inverness lose by four or more goals.

Definitely top seeded along with the European teams are Dunfermline and Ayr United. Inverness will be seeded if they beat Hearts, including by penalties. If not, St. Johnstone and Livingston will be seeded. These two have the exact same record, so it will be interesting to see what happens if they need to be split.

Kilmarnock, Motherwell and Ross County topped their groups and Dundee, Queen of the South and St. Mirren are definitely through as top runners up.

Okay, the next tie break after goals scored is away goals scored, and St. Johnstone win that tie break so are definitely seeded.

Ikpeazu smashes in well for Hearts on a corner. The game has been quite even though so far.

So suddenly this might actually be good for Michael. A 4 goal win does the job and it's still the first half...

Another header from Naismith, this one really good, lifted up and dropping in under the bar in the corner. 5-0 with 10mins left.

5-0 FT. Partick are in the draw which will follow shortly. I didn't think Hearts would be the saviour if they got in. Very rare to switch who I'm rooting for in the middle of a match.

So Livingston get seeded and Hearts and Partick are unseeded.
