I'm getting really worried if we will secure European football this summer...

Some facts about the last eternal derby: That 0-3 is the highest win for Sarajevo in eternal derby since independence in 1992 and also the first time since June 1963 that Sarajevo scored 3 goals on Grbavica. Also, it is the first win for Sarajevo on Grbavica stadium since November 2014.

Čukarički-Crvena Zvezda 3:2
Napredak-Vojvodina 5:0
Radnički (N)-Partizan 3:1

Great match in NIš! Partizan scored from their first chance, but it was not enough this time. First Radnički equalised with a great free kick and then sealed the win in the second half with two fast goals. Zvezda surprisingly lost on Banovo brdo after a 0:2 lead, while Mladost won away and also keeps the European dream alive.

Crvena Zvezda 45, Radnički (N) 41, Partizan 30, Čukarički 30, Mladost (L) 29, Napredak 24, Proleter (NS) 22, Vojvodina 20

Sloboda (T)-Sarajevo 2:1
Široki Brijeg-Zrinjski 1:0
Željezničar-Krupa 3:0

Željo finally won, but more interesting were two matches at the top. First the leader Sarajevo lost on Tušanj (I thought more than 3000 would come), but then Zrinjski did not take the opportunity, as they also lost in the Herzegovina derby against Široki.

Sarajevo 57, Zrinjski 53, Široki Brijeg 43, Željezničar 39, Sloboda (T) 37, Radnik (B) 36, Čelik 36...

Olimpija-Gorica 3:1
Maribor-Rudar (V) 3:1
Krško-Domžale 1:2

Gorica is far from their glory years and it was an easy routine win for Olimpija. Maribor aslo won easily, while Domžale had some problems in Krško. It is also worth mentioning Triglav's home win against Mura with two penalties.

Maribor 66, Olimpija 54, Domžale 43, Celje 40, Mura 39, Aluminij 37...

Radnički (N)-Čukarički 2:2
Mladost (L)-Vojvodina 3:1
Crvena Zvezda-Partizan 2:1
...
Matches were played already on Thursday. Zvezda won the eternal derby routinely and Partizan is now in trouble. Mladost namely won and went ahead and so did Čuka with a draw. Four rounds to go.

Crvena Zvezda 48, Radnički (N) 42, Mladost (L) 32, Čukarički 31, Partizan 30, Napredak 27, Proleter (NS) 22, Vojvodina 20

Sarajevo-Mladost (DK) 2:0
Zrinjski-Sloboda (T) 1:0
Željezničar-Široki Brijeg 0:0
...

Mladost (DK)-Zrinjski 2:2
Radnik (B)-Sarajevo 0:0
Sloboda (T)-Željezničar 0:0
...

Nothing special on Wednesday and a lot of draws yesterday. Sarajevo played goalless in a tough away match in Bijeljina, but Zrinjski also drew and did not take advantage of that. Željo is somehow holding on fourth.

Sarajevo 61, Zrinjski 57, Široki Brijeg 47, Željezničar 41, Radnik (B) 40, Čelik 39, Sloboda (T) 38...

Rudar-Domžale 1:2
Mura-Maribor 2:2
Olimpija-Krško 3:2
...

Maribor managed to draw, although they lost two players late in the game. Olimpija won, Domžale seem more and more secure, while there is a great battle for fourth.

Maribor 67, Olimpija 57, Domžale 46, Mura 40, Aluminij 40, Celje 40...

Proleter-Radnički (N) 2:3
Vojvodina-Crvena Zvezda 0:5
Partizan-Mladost (L) 2:1
...

Crvena Zvezda-Mladost (L) 1:0
Partizan-Napredak 2:1
Radnički (N)-Vojvodina 0:0

Zvezda just won the new title, after they scored a late winning goal with a man down. That was clear all the way, so no real surprise there. The traditional match between Radnički and Voša ended goalless, although both could play totally unstressed. There is only battle for third left, which is also not particularly interesting, as both clubs will play in EL.

Crvena Zvezda 54, Radnički (N) 46, Čukarički 37, Partizan 36, Mladost (L) 32, Napredak 27, Proleter (NS) 22, Vojvodina 21

Sarajevo-Čelik 5:0
Zrinjski-Radnik (B) 1:1
Željezničar-Mladost (DK) 3:1
...

Sarajevo is marching on and Željo is also breathing easier. Sloboda continues their awful form, so Široki secured Europe.

Sarajevo 64, Zrinjski 58, Široki Brijeg 50, Željezničar 44, Radnik (B) 41, Čelik 39, Sloboda (T) 38...

Domžale-Mura 1:1
Maribor-Aluminij 1:1
Celje-Olimpija 1:0
...

Aluminij-Domžale 0:3
Gorica-Maribor 1:3
Olimpija-Triglav 4:2
...

There were two rounds this week also in Slovenia. Maribor won in Gorica today and needs three points next match to secure a title. Celje achieved a great victory over Olimpija and is now closest to fourth. Krško is out.

Maribor 71, Olimpija 60, Domžale 50, Celje 43, Mura 42, Aluminij 41...

I see Radnicki Nis have done very well this season, being Zvezda's nearest challenger instead of Partizan, although they have a very limited history in European competitions.
How comes Radnicki have suddenly becomes such a powerhouse this season, and will they realistically be able to offer anything in their upcoming Europa League qualifying campaign? And do they have a particularly large fan base? As I am only familiar with the fans of Red Star and Partizan.

It is not just this season, they were third already last year.

Support wise and historically Radnički is top4 in Serbia, but far far behind Zvezda and Partizan and their fans (meraklije) are not so notorious. They had some rough times in the last two decades, but now they are slowly coming back where they belong. They have a great coach and good squad, so third place was somehow expected, but with a poor season of Partizan they finished second.

Radnički is also third in attendance ranking for some years now. What can they offer in Europe I do not know. It probably won't be 81/82 season, but noone will have an easy game in Niš.

Thanks for the info!

I hope the former Yugoslav clubs can have a good season in Europe this year.

Proleter (NS)-Crvena Zvezda 0:1
Napredak-Radnički (N) 3:3
Vojvodina-Partizan 1:2
...

Čukarički only drew and Partizan took the opportunity. They won at Vojvodina with a late penalty and climbed to third. One round to go.

Crvena Zvezda 57, Radnički (N) 47, Partizan 39, Čukarički 38, Mladost (L) 33, Napredak 28, Proleter (NS) 22, Vojvodina 21

Radnik (B)-Željezničar 0:1
Tuzla City-Sarajevo 1:0
Čelik-Zrinjski 0:1
...

Interesting round in Bosnia. Sarajevo lost and Zrinjski won, both with 1:0, so the difference on top halved. But Sarajevo is still very close to the the title, as they have easy opponents in the last two rounds. Željo secured EL after the all important match in Bijeljina.

Sarajevo 64, Zrinjski 61, Široki Brijeg 50, Željezničar 47, Radnik (B) 41, Čelik 39, Sloboda (T) 38...

Domžale-Gorica 2:1
Maribor-Olimpija 0:3
...

Olimpija won the derby in Maribor easily. They have a great squad, but because of the eccentric president and many manager changes they just could not do more this season.

Maribor 71, Olimpija 63, Domžale 53, Mura 45, Celje 44, Aluminij 41...

yes there must be a strategic problem at Olimpija. Sept. 2017 OL engaged Barisic as coach from Rapid Wien. With Barisic Rapid had their best times in the last years and was very close to reach CL. They eliminated Ajax and we know the dramatic match at Donetsk where Rapid went out extremely close, these last minutes I won't forget and Donetsk coach Lucescu was so happy about it and he almost hugged Barisic. But Rapid wanted to become even better and greater and did not extend his contract which was a big mistake.
In autumn 2017 Barisic changed to Olimpija and he was quite successful there again. With Olimpija he only lost 1 match out of 15. But after that he finished in Ljubljana likely because of a dispute with managent.

Mladost (L)-Crvena Zvezda 0:0
Radnički (N)-Partizan 1:1

Partizan managed to draw in Niš with a late goal, so they will play in the final against Zvezda.

Široki Brijeg-Sarajevo 1:0

Široki won, but it was expectedly not enough. Sarajevo is the new cup champion.

Olimpija-Domžale 1:4
Celje-Maribor 1:3
...

Maribor is officially the new champion after they won in Celje. Mura won luckily at Aluminij and climbed to fourth.

Crvena Zvezda-Napredak 3:0
Čukarički-Vojvodina 1:1
Partizan-Proleter (NS) 2:0
...

Partizan won and secured third place. Zemun only drew at Rad and is therefore relegated, together with Bačka. TSC and Javor will be directly promoted.

1 Crvena Zvezda 37 33 3 1 97 20 +77 60
2 Radnički Niš 37 25 10 2 71 30 +41 48
3 Partizan 37 20 9 8 58 28 +30 42
4 Čukarički 37 18 12 7 63 36 +27 39

5 Mladost Lučani 37 16 9 12 49 37 +12 34

7 Proleter Novi Sad 37 10 11 16 34 41 -7 22
8 Vojvodina 37 10 11 16 27 43 -16 22

1 Radnik Surdulica 37 13 8 16 38 45 -7 28
2 Spartak Subotica 37 12 10 15 41 49 -8 27
3 Voždovac 37 12 7 18 36 48 -12 25
4 Mačva Šabac 37 10 11 16 24 38 -14 25

Sarajevo-Zvijezda 4:0
Željezničar-Čelik 1:2
Zrinjski-Tuzla City 5:1
...

Sarajevo won easily again Zvijezda and is therefore new champion! They were the best team through the season and I think their title is totally deserved. Željo lost at home to Čelik, but it is more or less irrelevant, as they will finish fourth anyway, because Radnik lost at Široki.

Sarajevo 67, Zrinjski 64, Široki Brijeg 53, Željezničar 47, Čelik 42, Radnik (B) 41

Rudar (V)-Olimpija 1:2
Maribor-Triglav 3:3
Domžale-Celje 1:1
...

Triglav was the better team in Maribor, but the referees helped the home team to draw. There will be a fierce fight for fourth, after Celje drew in Domžale. Gorica will go to the play-off as it seems, but theoretically they can still overtake Triglav.

Maribor 75, Olimpija 66, Domžale 57, Mura 51, Celje 48, Aluminij 44...

Škendija is the champion of Makedonija, former giant Pobeda will be relegated and Sutjeska is the champion of Montenegro.

Im really happy for Mura, they have really good attendance for such a small city.

Inđija-Dinamo (V) 3:0

After the first play-off match it seems that Inđija will be the new top flight club.

Velež-Vitez 1:0
...

In Bosnian second league Velež won and it is now 99% sure they will return to top tier after 3 years.

Maribor-Krško 2:0
Olimpija-Mura 1:0
Triglav-Domžale 1:4
...

Both Mura and Celje lost today, so the last round direct clash will decide the last Slovenian EL spot.

Crvena Zvezda-Partizan 0:1

Partizan won the cup.

Tuzla City-Željezničar 0:3
Zvijezda-Zrinjski 0:0
GOŠK-Sarajevo 0:2
...

Unimportant results in the last round, Krupa and GOŠK are relegated, they will be replaced by two giants Velež and Borac.

1 Sarajevo 33 21 7 5 68 20 +48 70
2 Zrinjski 33 19 8 6 46 22 +24 65
3 Široki Brijeg 33 13 15 5 37 23 +14 54
4 Željezničar 33 14 8 11 43 32 +11 50

5 Radnik Bijeljina 33 10 14 9 29 26 +3 44
6 Mladost Doboj Kakanj 33 12 7 14 36 45 -9 43
7 Čelik 33 11 10 12 30 49 -19 43
8 Sloboda Tuzla 33 10 8 15 22 31 -9 38

10 Tuzla City 33 9 9 15 32 44 -12 36
11 Krupa na Vrbasu 33 8 9 16 40 48 -8 33
12 GOŠK Gabela 33 5 8 20 23 54 -31 23

Domžale-Maribor 2:1
Aluminij-Olimpija 1:0
...

Mura and Celje drew 1:1, but there should be a clear penalty for Celje that was overlooked. There were already some mistakes in favor of Mura and in the expense of Celje last week, so I cannot really say deserved, but Mura goes to EL. Gorica will enter play-off against Tabor.

1 Maribor 36 23 9 4 82 34 +48 78
