I hope Connah's Quay can compete for the title. Enough of the TNS dominance. And the former has been impressive in europe last summer, and years ago too.

Caernarfon and Druids are doing good, i'd be nice to see one of them in europe :P

I actually think that TNS will dominate the season from now on... I like Cefn Druids too! They had qualified to 2018-19 EL, but were eliminated by Trakai in EL-PR.

Cefn Druids beat Connah's Quay Nomads at home and TNS beat Barry Town United away, so TNS are now 4 points clear! Cefn Druids are now on sixth position! Bala Town vs Penybont on Tuesday and Bala Town can go second.
Penybont, Airbus UK and Carmarthen Town are the worse clubs this season and will fight to avoid relegation.

Bala Town 4-0 Penybont and Bala Town goes second!

The New Saints 38 pts
Bala Town 35
Connah's Quay 34

Connah's Quay vs Bala Town on Friday!

A mess in the Championship (North and South groups) with many postponed matches... Some clubs have played 4 matches more than other ones...

In the Premier League, Connah's Quay 2-1 Bala Town and The New Saints 1-2 Cardiff MU, so (after 18 MDs):
The New Saints 38 pts
Connah's Quay 37 pts
Bala Town 35 pts

In the Championship (South group), Swansea University beat Ammanford (after two defeats), so:
Briton Ferry (17 matches) 35 pts
Haverfordwest County (15 matches) 34 pts
Swansea University FC (16 matches) 32 pts

In the North group, Prestatyn Town has a 7-point lead and looks good for promotion!

There will be 'no commentary' in the next 2 MDs, since I am going back home for long Christmas hols! :bouncy:

20 MDs have been played. The New Saints, Connah's Quay Nomads and Bala Town continue doing well and are within 3 points at the top! Penybont, Carmarthen Town and Airbus UK continue doing poorly and are in the last 3 positions.

In the Championship (South group), Swansea University FC and Haverfordwest County do well! In the North group, Prestatyn Town has a 9-point lead!

Big win for Connah's Quay Nomads against 4th-placed Barry Town United (2-0)! Also for Cardiff MU against 3rd-placed Bala Town (1-0)! All three goals were scored in overtime! TNS easily beat Newtown away and remain top, one point ahead of Connah's Quay Nomads!

Big win also for Penybont away against Cefn Druids (2-3), but they are still on 10th place. Carmarthen Town 2-2 Airbus UK and both clubs remain in the two bottom positions.

The New Saints vs Connah's Quay on Saturday!!!!!

In the Championship, huge chance missed by Swansea University FC to get some space between them and Haverfordwest County at the top; they could only draw against 11th-placed Llantwit Major at home...

First win for bottom-placed Caerau (Ely) against Taff's Well away 0-3!

The last MD of the first phase was played yesterday:

The New Saints 2-1 Connah's Quay and TNS have a 4-point lead!

Also, Bala Town 1-2 Cefn Druids! Cardiff MU also won, but it was not enough, so Cardiff MU and Cefn Druids will be in the relegation group.

TNS, Connah's Quay Nomads, Bala Town, Barry Town United, Caernarfon Town and Newtown will be in the Championship group. Cardiff MU, Cefn Druids, Aberystwyth Town, Pen-y-Bont, Airbus UK and Carmarthen Town will be in the Relegation group. Clubs play each other home and away (10 MDs). Clubs keep their points from the first phase.

In the Championship (South group), Swansea University FC and Haverfordwest County continue doing well and lead the group! In the North group, Prestatyn Town has a 12-point lead!

The Welsh Cup Last-16 is on 24-25 January (single matches)!

Swansea University FC plays Prestatyn Town [the two top clubs in the South and North Championship groups!].
Cefn Druids play third-division Pontardawe Town!
Let's see! The winner qualifies for EL-Q1!

Thanks to the Jan/Feb break, all the postponed matches can be played in the next days! The most important one is on Friday: Haverfordwest County vs Swansea University FC! The two top clubs in the South group of the Championship! If Haverfordwest County wins, they will have a 5-point lead and will be looking good for promotion together with Prestatyn Town from the North group!

Huge win for Swansea University FC away against Haverfordwest County (0-1) and SU FC is first again, one point ahead of Haverfordwest County! Haverforest's Marcus Griffiths missed a penalty and five minutes later SU graduate William Toms (Mechanical Engineering) scored!

The first MD of the second phase is being played this weekend! And what a start we had!

The New Saints 1-2 Newtown, Barry Town United 0-1 Connah's Quay and Caernarfon Town 1-2 Bala Town!

With 9 MDs to go we have:
The New Saints 50 pts
Connah's Quay 49
Bala Town 44

In the relegation group, big wins for Carmarthen Town away against Penybont (1-2), for Cefn Druids against Airbus UK away (2-3) and for Cardiff MU at home against Aberystwyth Town (3-1). Things look even more bleak for Penybont and Airbus UK. Cefn Druids will fight with Cardiff MU for the last EL play-off spot (third phase)!

In total we had 5 away wins and 1 home win in this MD!

Let's also see who will be the league's top scorer (Greg Draper of TNS was top scorer in 2017–18 and 2018–19). Chris Venables (Bala Town) leads at the moment! He was top scorer in 2013–15 (playing for Aberystwyth Town FC) and in 2015-16 (playing for Bala Town).

In the Championship (South group), Haverfordwest County 2-2 Cwmbran Celtic and Pontypridd Town AFC 1-1 Swansea University FC, so SU FC remains one point above Haverfordwest County!

In the North group, unexpected draw for Prestatyn Town at home against Porthmadog (2-2), but Prestatyn Town still has a 13-point lead and will soon be champions!

In the Premier League (Championship round), Bala Town 1-1 The New Saints and Connah's Quay 4-0 Caernarfon Town, so Connah's Quay Nomads go top with 8 MDs still to be played! Connah's Quay vs The New Saints on the 21st; if the Nomads win we could have a new champion for the first time since 2011!
