From the cycle: why I love Ekstraklasa
I shall break with tradition here and report on a Polish football match if that is allowed on this section of the forum.
The Polish league is now available in the UK, I missed the first one last week because I found out too late that it was on.
Pogon beat Cracovia 1-0 yesterday. Pogon started the better but it didn't last long and Cracovia were slightly better for the remainder of the game, Cracovia had a goal disallowed for offside which must have been by just millimetres before Pogon took the lead and Cracovia also has what looked like a valid penalty claim turned down, so a bit lucky for Pogon in the end I felt.
Not sure what the giant toadstool like features were at either side of the ground, something to do with new construction I believe.
