Still 0-0 over an hour into this semi. But it's been a far better game than the ones yesterday. Not a great game, but a pretty good one with both teams attacking each other with energy and the work of defenders and keepers keeping it 0-0. St. Johnstone have had more of the ball and more attacks, but St. Mirren have had the best chances.

St. Mirren got a late goal, but the double dream lives on for St. Johnstone. FT 1-2.

"To Scottish members: Good election results for SNP and the Greens, two parties that support Scotland's independence from the UK and EU membership. Boris Johnson (like any good politician…) immediately called for a devolution summit between England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. Do you think he will be able to prevent a new referendum in Scotland? If not, what do you think Scottish people will vote for?"

The new Scottish parliament will pass legislation for a referendum in 2 years or so and Boris will have something of a 'no win' situation where he can either: challenge the Scottish government in a UK supreme court (Scotland and England have separate legal systems so this would be the ultimate arbiter or whether the Scottish government can legally hold a referendum without consent from London), which will be look terrible in Scotland, strengthening the case for independence, and he might lose the legal case anyway; or he can go along with the referendum. Probably a question of 'when' rather than 'if' for the referendum, although it could be many years away.

Polls are currently 50/50 so neither side really want the referendum right away.

All favourites are winning these playoffs. Kelty were favourites for the Pyramid Playoff and won. Leagues One and Two, the threatened teams beat the 4th teams and the 2nd teams beat the 3rd teams. Championship, 3rd beat 4th, and tonight, 2nd beat 3rd in the first leg 0-3.

Relegation battle in the SPL, Ross County beat Hamilton 2-1. Hamilton's long stay in the SPL is over. They lasted plenty of years longer than they had any right to with their meagre resources. Meanwhile it's a huge win for Ross County, Kilmarnock got a 3-3 with St. Mirren, they're 3pts behind Ross Country but have a much better GD, so could still escape the relegation playoff. They're away to Hamilton while Ross are away to Motherwell.

Rangers beat Livingston 0-3. Only Aberdeen stand in the way of an unbeaten season now.

Hibernian sealed 3rd by beating Aberdeen 0-1.

Rangers beat Aberdeen 4-0 for an invincible season. I watched the match, in general play Aberdeen had just as many chances but Rangers were ruthlessly efficient in front of goal, 4 goals from 9 shots, Aberdeen had 11 shots. Defoe came off the bench for another goal. 8)

Many records were broken. 26 league clean sheets is the best ever. 13 conceded is the best ever. Perfection at home, P19, W19 has never been done before. Longest league undefeated streak in club history at 39 including one from last season.

P38, W32, D6, L0, F92, A13, GD+79, 102PTS.

St. Johnstone drew 0-0 with Livingston to hold them off and claim 5th. They will be in Europe next season, the cup will decide where.

Celtic ended their season with a 0-0 at Hibernian. They finish 25pts behind Rangers.

fantastic path of Gers...

102 points is a record in the Scottish Premier?

edit: apparently not, there are the 106 of Celtic (2016/17)

Celtic also achieved 103 points in 2001/02 although it wasn't an unbeaten season, they lost to Aberdeen after the league was already won.
