Yes. More points, more goals (106) and a better GD (+81). And they won both cups and made it into the CLGS.angel_87 wrote: ↑Sat May 15, 2021 16:22fantastic path of Gers...Lorric wrote: ↑Sat May 15, 2021 15:45 Rangers beat Aberdeen 4-0 for an invincible season. I watched the match, in general play Aberdeen had just as many chances but Rangers were ruthlessly efficient in front of goal, 4 goals from 9 shots, Aberdeen had 11 shots. Defoe came off the bench for another goal.
Many records were broken. 26 league clean sheets is the best ever. 13 conceded is the best ever. Perfection at home, P19, W19 has never been done before. Longest league undefeated streak in club history at 39 including one from last season.
P38, W32, D6, L0, F92, A13, GD+79, 102PTS.
102 points is a record in the Scottish Premier?
edit: apparently not, there are the 106 of Celtic (2016/17)

On post-match celebrations tonight, Rangers manager Steven Gerrard tells Sky Sports: "I've come in today and there's a box of paracetamol in my locker. I think someone is trying to tell me the next few days are going to be messy.
"When I grew up as a young kid I thought it was one club for life," he adds.
"I've come through at Liverpool and had a career there which I'm immensely proud of. I came up here with my eyes wide open to learn about the club.
"I had a good idea from the outside but this has grabbed me. It's a club like very few in the world. This has got a special place in my heart.
"I'm happy here. I had to make a lot of sacrifices family wise, but I want more."

Raith won 0-1, but Dundee go through 3-1 to the playoff final.
They'll find out their opponent tomorrow...

Here's an absolutely insane stat for you.
Celtic, league goals conceded at Ibrox - 5 in 2 games.
Rangers, league goals conceded at Ibrox - 4 in 19 games.

Kilmarnock won 0-2, but in vain as Ross County won 1-2.
Kilmarnock will face Dundee for survival.

Someone at Google knows the truth. Go search Scottish premiership Champions lol
Heh.
Had to do some digging to figure that one out. It's because the name of the league changed in 2013/14. So Celtic are listed as 7 time champions. Even if I put Scottish football Champions, it still comes up with 1st title.
I found that as well, I seen it going around FB and had to check. Made me laugh tho
I got the stream up and instantly see Dundee putting the ball in the net! A sixth minute goal for the promotion chasing side starting the playoff off with a bang!
Huge save by Kilmarnock keeper one on one.
Dundee have struck again early in the second half, triggering huge celebrations! 2-0!
Kilmarnock hit back, 2-1.
Meanwhile the 2nd leg of the League One playoff is over, Dumbarton lost 0-1 to Edinburgh City, but survive thanks to winning away 1-3, surviving 3-2.

And that was a close one, almost 2-2, point blank but the keeper managed to reflexively shut his legs for the block.
2-1 FT. Set up nicely for Kilmarnock's home leg. It would end a stay of 28 straight seasons in the top tier if Kilmarnock fail to mount a comeback.
Morton comfortably survived the Championship playoffs, following up their 0-1 win in the first leg with a 3-0 win.
The others fighting for survival will both have a harder time, having lost their first legs 2-1.
