The Dundee derby is back.

Dundee is one of four British cities to have produced two European Cup semi-finalists. Dundee lost to A.C. Milan in 1963 and Dundee United lost to A.S. Roma in 1984.

Falkirk had an extraordinarily unusual arrangement of having two managers. They sacked both of them after Partick Thistle overtook them:

You saw my post about Thistle subsequently beating them 5-0. Season's now over, and Falkirk didn't even make the playoffs!

Maybe two heads are better than one after all!

As a Falkirk fan, believe me, we were not better with two heads.
Even as we were leading the league for most of the season, we were rubbish. RUBBISH. It's just the rest of the league was worse. Then PT signed well and found form, we got about 7 1st team player injuries and just totally collapsed. We were glad to not make the play offs as it meant our embarrassment was over sooner.
New boss in today, Paul Sheerin, who comes highly thought of. Let's see if the idiots in our boardroom can screw up this one too.

St.Johnstone wins the Cup and goes to ELQ3 !

That is not necessarily good for Scotland because they might lose both their ties (ELQ3 and ECLQ4) and get out. Hibernian woud have a better shot.

But they've certainly done well at KO football, so maybe they are the best shot...

Europe's different and it's 2 legs, no Scottish team outside the old firm have given any evidence they would survive the last 2 Q rounds.
