Probably all Verona players got a nice offer.
And Roma lucky as always.

Napoli, you've gone and fucked it up.

The dream of Ronaldo in the Europa League has died because of you. To be fair though, Verona won the other game vs Napoli 3-1.

Verona literally had nothing to play for. They were locked in 10th place.

Yes, Roma in ECL instead of Sassuolo for just a couple of goals scored more.

Napoli, bigger team, should have done better. By having nothing to win should Verona open their legs?

No. They should play as professionals. It's a disgrace for Napoli, not Verona. It's not what I wanted, but good for them for making Napoli earn it.

The Verona manager (Juric) got angry with journalists, because they underlined how well Verona played even if they have nothing to play for. LOL

pfuu. finally the season is over. I've invested a lot emotionally in the last 2 years in Maldini's Milan. And with this CL qualification a first important milestone is reached. This way it should be much easier to strengthen the team, convincing players to join the project.
the game was dreadful. Milan wasn't able to keep the ball and exit their half. good that everything end up ok. considering how the season went it would have been a real shame to miss CL.
this kind of result is why I don't trust Napoli, they always seem to actually under perform considering the potential they have. I think the european lineup is the best for Italy next season just hope they take every competition seriously. (and that Milan invest in a team for CL).
FORZA STEAUA! FORZA MILAN!

matt wrote: Thu May 20, 2021 22:43 The Play-Off final for the last place in the next Serie A will be Cittadella - Venezia. Both teams are in Veneto. Cittadella is a small town of just 20k people! Two years ago they lost the Play-Off final against Verona, in another Veneto derby. Let's see if history will repeat itself.
Venezia won the first leg 1-0 away.

Cittadella tonight need to win with at least two-goals margin. It looked unlikely until 20 mins ago.

Now Cittadella are leading 0-1, and a Venezia player was sent off. It's still the first half.
It's a rare game showed by the Italian state tv.

1-1 in the added time! Venezia back to Serie A after 19 years! No first time for Cittadella, they lost again in the Play-Off final, like two years ago against Verona.
Venezia will have the nicest kit of the league. Orange, green and black is not something you see often.
