It's North Macedonia not FYR Macedonia. Be careful not to offend the Greeks!
Failing again when trying to be a smart ass.
FYR Macedonia was the designation pushed by the greeks, not the opposite!
I suggest you read this:

If you're going to have a dig at least get your facts right!

I'm not looking for a fall out mate so no need for jibes!

The semi final 1st leg between Wolfsburg and Arsenal is this afternoon.

i have a bigger interest in this even than usual because I have tickets to see the 2nd leg live at the Emirates with a friend, so I am hoping that our current injury depleted squad can put up a good fight and at least keep us in touch for the 2nd leg next Monday. Wolfsburg are a strong opponent who we have not beaten before, but I suppose there is some optimism following the win against Bayern where we also had a below full strength team.

Barcelona look to have the advantage in the other semi-final now.

Poor first half by Arsenal including an insane giveaway for the 2nd goal for Wolfsburg.

However, Maanum scores from a header just before half-time to give Arsenal some hope and it is 2-1 at HT. Would probably settle for that as a full time score as there is likely to be a huge crowd for the 2nd leg. Looks like a group of several hundred Arsenal fans at least who have made the away trip.

Correction: it was Rafaelle, not Maanum with the goal back.

Arsenal played much better in the 2nd half and it finished 2-2, so set up quite nicely for the 2nd leg. Blackstenius getting the equaliser from a cross after the offside trap had been beaten. Arsenal; much more positive in attitude in that half. The result probably about right overall as the statistics were fairly closely matched.

There will be time left to recover and train again I hope.

Barcelona take the lead, Graham Hansen again with the goal, 2-0 on aggregate to Barcelona.

Going to be difficult for Chelsea now, who have given a fairly good account of themselves so far and haven't been overwhelmed.

But Chelsea equalise on the night almost immediately and now really are making a game of it!

Barcelona manage to hold the lead and go through 2-1 on aggregate, but a really good away performance by Chelsea.
