I wonder if Juventus actually want to get banned now instead of having to play ECL :grin1:

Should be banned from football, how many times can one club cheat before they get punished properly

Yes, it depends on UEFA now.

That's the real punishment, not getting banned and having to play the ECL :grin1:

''spareggio'' for salvation when? saturday or sunday? place?
:dontknow:
Sunday 20:45, tomorrow the place will be announced. Big final of the season on Sunday, with Bari - Cagliari and Verona - Spezia for the last two places of Serie A 2023-24

During his farewell speech, at the end of Milan-Verona, booed by the Verona fans;
Ibra stopped his speech and replied:
"boo, boo, it's your best moment of the year, because you see me".
Roar of joy from the Milan fans.

background: there is a big rivalry between Milan and Verona: Milan lost two scudettos in the last MDs in Verona in 1972-73 and in 1989-90.

1. Napoli
2. Lazio
3. Internazionale
4. AC Milan

without any of Juventus, Internazionale and AC Milan in the top 2.
I think that the last time this happened it was the year of the scudetto of Verona (please correct me if I am wrong).
Not checked, but I feel you are right. Last time was 38 years ago, in 1984-85: 1. Hellas Verona, 2. Torino.
This article https://sempremilan.com/milan-inter-and ... us-1984-85 confirms this.
I always had the impression Serie A is more balanced than this. That's huge. 2 generations of players. And even now I would call that Lazio isn t a worthy 2nd place. Ok nobody was, but at least the others saved some face in Europe.

...
this is the number of titles won in the last 53 seasons (last 30 seasons):
24 - Juventus (15)
10 - Milan (6)
9 - Inter (6)
3 - Napoli (1)
2 - Lazio (1)
2 - Roma (1)
1 - Torino
1 - Verona
1 - Sampdoria

In the last 53 seasons, Juve, Inter and Milan won 82% of scudetti.
In the last 30 seasons they took 90% of the titles.

very disappointed about the Maldini news. This was his team, he brought every player except the homegrown ones. I was really attached to this squad as I've watched them grow very closely. Missed only a handful of games in the last ~4 years.
Obviously he has some faults and wasn't perfect, but he was a guarantee that Milan wants to try to rebecome "football royalty". And looked like the path they were was the correct one even if it took time. Now I have big doubts and afraid they will change the mode of operation.
I am curious if Leao would have just extended had he knew this would happen. Also hopping other players might not wish to force move in the next year now. I've read a lot of interviews in which many of the players mentioned how impressed they were to get a call from Maldini and how he convinced them to join this project.
Also very afraid of a another missed summer transfer period. Last year it started very late because Maldini's contract was extended very late. Players arrived late so there were some missed opportunities. This could happen again if they don't have the new team in place.
Probably the actual news shouldn't be a surprise as Maldini has already expressed some disagreement on how the club should be run and wanted be autonomous and not have to get approval for every sporting decision.
Reports are that Pioli is safe being well seen by the other officials (he also has 2 years of contract, but also Maldini had 1 more year).
Still waiting for some official press release and see what is the plan
FORZA STEAUA! FORZA MILAN!
