Group A1: Netherlands. Italy, Norway, Finland

Group A2: Spain, Denmark, Belgium, Czechia

Group A3: France, England, Sweden, Republic of Ireland

Group A4: Germany, Austria, Iceland, Poland
A1: the most balanced group, with the strongest pot 4 team in it
A2: the most unequal group. If Spain goes for it the will get 18 pts, Denmark and Belgium will fight for 2nd. Czechia will have to try to do better than Ireland
A3: the strongest group. Ireland is doomed
A4: Germany got the fun group. All other three are fighting for 2nd place

For the tournamt itself I hope they put all winners in pot 1, runners up in pot 2 and 7 playoff winners + Switzerland in pot 3. Althoug that will lead to a group of death for A3 number 3, unless the draw runner up of group 2

It's just like the men. England fall into pot 2 because of the Nations League and draw the best pot 3 team. Hopefully it ends in the same way.

Hate that getting fucked over in the Nations League means getting fucked over in 3 different tournaments. Maybe more if we don't win this group as I assume that results in these groups carries over into the next Nations League.

3rd 4th and 5th by FIFA Rankings in the same group. I expect we'd have sailed through the group we should have been in.

The dates of the league phase matchdays were shown at 13:12 of the draw video: https://www.uefa.com/womenseuropeanqualifiers/draws/

But I don't see the dates of the finals.

It is interesting that the first four matchdays of the next UWNL will be played before the Euro 2025 final tournament.

I guess this will give enough time for UEFA to play all of their 2027 WWC qualifying phase starting from early 2026.

Is there any concrete info on the format for WWC qualifying tournament? There will be 12 MD in 2026 which should be enough to run a qualifiers tournament.

I believe nothing is concrete at this point, as of course, they first need to know the 2027 WWC host country/countries and see how many spots are available to UEFA through qualifying.

Have they explicitly said the league system would be used?

Yes, the league system of dividing teams into three leagues A-C will be used for both Women's Euro and WWC qualifying.

So what UEFA need to decide is how many automatic spots are available, how many play-off spots are available, and how many teams advance to the play-offs and what is the format of the play-offs.

Did you notice they called it 2025 NL not 25/26? That for me confirms the final 4 will be held in November/December.

If it's me, by the time of WWQ, you've already had 3 of these competitions. So no one has any excuse that they didn't have a chance to get into a position to qualify. Top 2 in League A automatic, 3rds vs B winners in playoffs. Worst record of the 4 winners to the intercontinental playoffs. A 3rds are always considered superior to B winners in this calculation. If possible, have A 4ths vs B winners first and winners of that vs A 3rds.
