The Groups for the CONMEBOL U17 Women
The U17 women's national teams of the ten CONMEBOL Member Associations will participate in the tournament.
The teams are divided into two groups of five teams each, with the top two finishers in each series advancing to the Finals.
On Friday, January 12, the draw was made for the Group Stage of the CONMEBOL U17 Women 2024, which will be played in Paraguay from March 13 to 31, 2024, with the participation of the ten U17 women's national teams belonging to the CONMEBOL Member Associations.
Paraguay will host the CONMEBOL U17 Women's Championship for the second time, in what will be the eighth edition of the South American tournament, which has Brazil as the most winning team, with four titles.
– Dispute system –
The CONMEBOL U17 Women 2024 will be played in 2 phases: preliminary phase (group stage) and final phase. The four (4) teams qualified from the preliminary phase will participate in this phase, with the same round-robin system. All phases will be played in a single round of matches. The preliminary phase is played by the 10 teams, distributed in 2 groups of 5 teams each.
The teams that occupy the first two positions in each group will qualify for the Final Phase.
The Participating Member Associations (MPAs) of the CONMEBOL U17 Women 2024 are the representatives of the following countries: Argentina; Bolivia; Brazil; Chile; Colombia; Ecuador; Paraguay; Peru; Uruguay and Venezuela.
