In Greece, Kifisia FC, from Kifisia, Greater Athens, has been promoted! Kifisia FC will play in the top division for the first time in their history.
Also in the Netherlands we will have a new club in the top level next season. Almere City won the play-off final against FC Emmen (which is relegated after just 1 season).
In Sweden, Varbergs BoIS has been relegated, after 4 seasons in the top division. They are based at Varberg, SW Sweden.
In the Republic of Ireland, University College Dublin AFC (the football team of University College Dublin) has been relegated after two seasons in the top division. They had competed in 2015-16 EL where they eliminated F91 Dudelange and were eliminated by Slovan Bratislava.
