They said to reuse infrastructure and won't need extra money spending.TommyChat wrote: ↑Fri Dec 08, 2023 23:17Probably some of the US venues who weren't selected for 26 will be includedJackson Harrison wrote: ↑Fri Dec 08, 2023 23:08So gunna use 14 and WC26 venues?amenina wrote: ↑Fri Dec 08, 2023 21:51 U.S. SOCCER AND MEXICAN FOOTBALL FEDERATION SUBMIT “NEW HEIGHTS” BID FOR THE RIGHT TO HOST THE 2027 FIFA WOMEN’S WORLD CUP

They said that the infrastructure is already in place. There is the necessary infrastructure in venues that won't be used in WC26.Jackson Harrison wrote: ↑Fri Dec 08, 2023 23:33They said to reuse infrastructure and won't need extra money spending.
Edit: Oh I missed the part that is saying same venues

Does it really mean they will use the exact same venues? I somehow doubt it. And even if they say it now, if they win the bid, they can always choose a different set of venues. I think they will use some of the WC26 venues, but some of the candidate cities which were not chosen may get selected, especially if they already have a women's pro team, e.g., San Diego, Portland, Orlando.

Belgium / Germany / Netherlands hosting candidate cities
Belgium: Anderlecht (Brussels), Charleroi, Genk, Ghent
Netherlands: Amsterdam, Eindhoven, Heerenveen, Enschede, Rotterdam
Germany: Dortmund, Düsseldorf, Gelsenkirchen and Cologne
The stadium in Charleroi is scheduled to be completed before the Women's World Cup.
Brazil hosting candidate cities
Belo Horizonte, Brasilia, Cuiaba, Fortaleza, Manaus, Porto Alegre, Recife, Rio de Janeiro, Salvador, Sao Paulo
For the 12 stadiums used in 2014 World Cup, 10 are included, while Curitiba and Natal are not.
USA / Mexico hosting candidate cities
USA: Atlanta, Boston, Dallas, Houston, Kansas City, Los Angeles, Miami, New York/New Jersey, Philadelphia, San Francisco Bay Area, Seattle
Mexico: Guadalajara, Leon, Mexico City, Monterrey, Queretaro
All 14 host cities for 2026 World Cup in USA and Mexico have been included, plus 2 more from Mexico (Leon, Queretaro). Interestingly, in the bid book, the stadium included for Los Angeles is the Rose Bowl, instead of SoFi Stadium, which is rumored to be in dispute with FIFA regarding hosting financial arrangements for the 2026 World Cup.

Yes. But the stadium is not included in the 2026 World Cup.Jackson Harrison wrote: ↑Sun Dec 10, 2023 19:29Didn't Rose Bowl host the 1994 final?amenina wrote: ↑Sun Dec 10, 2023 14:49 Belgium / Germany / Netherlands hosting candidate cities

The Rose Bowl also hosted the 1999 Women's World Cup final. Coincidentally, both finals, Brazil vs italy and USA vs China, finished 0-0 after extra time and the World Cup champions were decided by penalty kicks. And those two finals still remain the only goalless finals, men or women. So FIFA, whatever you do, don't put the final at the Rose Bowl!

IIRC correctly all venues are WC virgins?
PS. Any news on schedule?
