Yes, Guardiola courageous move to replacing De Bruyne with the more offensive Foden paid.

Enjoy the parade! :smile1:
It wasn't courage, KDB was injured

Yes, of course. But he decided for Foden instead of a midfielder.

It only took Pep 7 tries with such a cheap team, I'm really impressed. Other coaches would have needed 8 or 9!!!!!

Congrats to Oldelpaso. I know he is a lifelong fan who would support them even in the Championship. Nothing against this type of City fans. Enjoy it.

Arsène Wenger had TWENTY attempts in charge of Monaco and Arsenal and couldn't win a single one. So what's your point here?

If a manager can't do it in attempt #1 with 0€ to spend then he is a fraud?

Given the amounts spent during his reign in Munich and Manchester, one CL trophy is quite poor when it comes to best manager. Some folks might argue that he was just lucky for having Messi, Xavi and Iniesta in a Barca side that eben the team‘s bus driver could manage to a CL trophy.
Some folks are just haters and/or know f*ck all about football. :rollfloor:

No shame in being a lifelong City supporter or any other club recently bought. Whereas these fanboys that crawled from under their rocks since some billionaire bought himself a toy… totally different story.

The golden Di Matteo standard! These guys just don't reflect on what they're writing before submitting.

Whatever dude. As I already stated before the other City final in a convo with Bugy, I don't even like Guardiola as a person. I like him as a manager.

Keep coping!

Two completely different things, dude. Average coach winning the CL in his first try doesn't have anything to do with it. But winning it after 7 tries with the by far most expensive team (and almost fuck it up even against Inter, if they are smarter in front of the goal) is not a reason for new superlatives. I've always said that it will happen one day because of endless money and endless tries.

West Ham spent more than Manchester City this season to win the Conference League.

Liverpool, Chelsea, Manchester United, Arsenal and Tottenham spent more and ended up empty handed. Why aren't you attacking them instead? Worse than "spending a lot and winning" is spending a lot and losing!

One of the other reasons I don't see City as a great success story is that they done it while all of Europe's super powers and in transition. And even then they still struggled to get over the line.

City done it over a sustained period with money they didn't earn. This will become apparent once they are found guilty of fiddling the books like Juventus but on a larger scale. Also Man U won the league cup so aren't empty handed

Well go ahead and pull out the money they spent in previous years under the same manager. Dont pull up only 1 summer.
One of the transfers by city that most baffles me to this day is paying 30m for Danilo. How did ReslM convince them i will never know. Just to compare (ik they play different positions) Modric and Kroos each cost the same as Danilo.
