Thank you. Always good to hear other people’s opinion.
I do you when you put the matches or the day up though!
For the UWCL knockout rounds, I will put the fixtures and results in plain text on this thread.
I like the graphics!

Quarter-finals

First legs:

Tuesday 19 March
Ajax 0-3 Chelsea
Benfica 1-2 Lyon

Chelsea were dominant and eased to a huge away win behind Sjoeke Nusken's double. The match attendance of 35,997 at Ajax’s Johan Cruijff ArenA was a new record for a women's fixture in the Netherlands.

Benfica took a half time lead in the first ever match by a Portuguese team in the quarter-finals of the tournament, but Lyon scored two second half goals to take the aggregate lead going into their home leg.

I wasn't free to watch until the 2nd half of the second match yesterday. I found it difficult to believe the half -time score-line given the dominance of Lyon in the portion of the match that I watched. Sounds impressive by Chelsea given that Ajax don't seem a bad team at all on the few occasions that I have seen them play.

Quarter-finals

First legs:

Wednesday 20 March
Häcken 1-2 Paris Saint-Germain
Brann 1-2 Barcelona

Both matches were 1-1 at half-time, but the seeded team scored the second goal in the second half to give them a one-goal advantage into the second leg. A clean sweep by the favorites, but three of the four games were closer than many expected.

I saw the Brann- Barcelona match last evening. Brann put up a really good effort to try to keep level with Barcelona, Brann were fortunate when you look at the chances to be level at HT. For the first 20 minutes or so of the second half the intensity from Barcelona dropped and Brann seemed more comfortable but eventually Barcelona got their act together and scored the winning goal of the evening, I was impressed by the huge effort by Brann though to keep the game as close as possible.

Quarter-finals
Second legs:

The three seeded teams which had one-goal lead after the first legs all won rather comfortably in the second leg. Couldn't they do Barca - Paris and Chelsea - Lyon?
I hate same country clashes in EC, better avoid them if possible.

I agree it would be better but like the men at this late stage there is no country protection. On the plus side though we are guaranteed not to have a same country clash in the final.

I think that both semi-finals are really difficult to call. I hate to say it as an Arsenal supporter but Chelsea look really strong at the moment and they would like to give their outgoing coach a good send off by winning as many trophies as possible this season including the one that they haven' managed yet. Lyon don't look as good as in former years, but they seem to have this knack, just as Real Madrid do in the men's game, of performing well when it is really needed.

If I was forced to make a prediction I might even go for the two alternatives to you, but it is one of those 51-49 kind of scenarios as far as I see it anyway.
