Turkish Football Federation:

" We decided to establish a special commission to evaluate the success criteria and official status of the league, which started as the Turkish 1st Football League in 1959 and continued as the Süper Lig, before and after 1959.”

More championships for the teams ?

Fenerbahçe signed Dusan Tadic.

Beşiktaş also showed high interest, but Fenerbahçe managed to snap him out of Beşiktaş’ hands.

Fenerbahçe are building a very strong squad this season.

Signings so far include Tadic (Ajax), Dzeko (Inter), Szymanski (Dinamo Moscow), Kent (Rangers), Djiku (Strasbourg)

Croatian international goalkeeper Livakovic (Dinamo Zagreb) is expected to join them too.

That's of course great news for Turkey as Fenerbahçe have the potential to go very far in ECL.
Less good news for my team Besiktas. :dontknow:

UEFA Champions League 3rd qualifying round draw :

PFC Ludogorets 1945 (BUL) / NK Olimpija Ljubljana (SVN) vs FK Žalgiris Vilnius (LTU) / Galatasaray A.Ş. (TUR)

UEFA Europa Conference League 3rd qualifying round draw :

Beşiktaş JK (TUR) / KF Tirana (ALB) vs FK Željezničar (BIH) / Neftçi PFK (AZE)
CFR 1907 Cluj (ROU) / Adana Demirspor (TUR) vs NK Osijek (CRO) / ZTE FC (HUN)
Fenerbahçe SK (TUR) / FC Zimbru Chisinau (MDA) vs FC Differdange 03 (LUX) / NK Maribor (SVN)

----

Good draw overall for Turkish teams.

I can't see Galatasaray losing to any of these 3 teams.

In ECL, decent chance for all - Adana Demirspor the least likely to make it to the PO Round & Fenerbahçe the most likely to make it.
PO Round draw will be crucial for Besiktas.

Beşiktaş need immediate transfers, some big guns i mean. This could be enough for Q2+Q3 but POs will be different for sure.

As per Adana Demirspor, I hope Onyekuru+Badou Ndiaye return quickly.

Yes, we need transfers.
Ante Rebic could be one of them as many sources in Turkey are announcing that an agreement has been found with Milan.

I am not too worried for now - the game against Tirana was under control. It was the first game of the season and Besiktas didn't need to try too much.
It could have been a lot worse for Tirana when you see the stats
For PO we will need luck anyway as you can get Frankfurt, Lille, Club Brugge or even Aston Villa, or the likes of Dnipro, Servette or Viktoria Plzen on the other side.

Adana Demirspor have a historic chance to defeat Cluj and qualify - it can be their first ever European win.
Onyekuru has left the team so he won't be coming back.

Adana Demirspor has to be really desperate if they need Onyekuru.

Galatasaray is splashing some serious cash. Did they get a money injection from a sponsor or the owner started to invest even more?
