Slovan are so lucky here. They should get through but not because of their strength, but their opponents. Having said that, I wonder if klaksvik is capable of causing any more surprises? Perhaps they also can fight for qualification? Lille should be 1st with ease.

1. Lille
2. Slovan
3. Olimpija
4. Klaksvik

Expected wins for LOSC and Slovan Bratislava.

Let's see if they'll both win again in round 2 or if the others this time playing at home will be stronger.

Lille have a derby to play on Sunday and fielded a weakened team, but a point for Klaksvik is a great result of course.
Slovan Bratislava have an amazing ability to grind out results against opponents of a similar level, though the xG tell that Olimpija were completely dominated by the Slovak team. Slovenian football is mediocre.

Expected win for Slovan Bratislava.

I don't even know how to describe what LOSC did.

They played in Faroe Islands with only 3 starters compared to their previous match (Gudmundsson, André and Haraldsson).

Is this overconfidence, the belief that even the reserves of a "top top whatever" are more than enough to defeat a random team that nobody ever heard of?

Is it negligence, or perhaps even worse, match-fixing?

Is this sabotage? Paulo Fonseca is Portuguese, perhaps he wishes to see Portugal above France in the country ranking, and decided to take matter into his own hands?

All of the above are just suspicions. The fact is that LOSC played in Faroe Islands, couldn't win its match, couldn't even have a single shot on goal in the entire match!!

Olimpija Ljubljana and Slovan Bratislava teams of "similar level"? Based on what!?

Slovan Bratislava is #69 in UEFA Club Ranking, with a 24.500 coefficient. You won't even find Olimpija Ljubljana in the next 70 teams, only in position #152 with a 9.000 coefficient.

Congratulations KÍ Klaksvík! :bouncy:

I thought that they'd be last placed in this group, but it doesn't look like they'll be last placed anymore. They already have 4 points, while Olimpija Ljubljana doesn't have a single point yet. Plus this 3-0 win should probably give them head-to-head advantage too, even if they lose the next match.

At the moment they're closer to the second spot than to the last spot, so perhaps they should start looking upwards!

Meanwhile LOSC, this time with a starting XI much closer to the one from round 1 (8 players in common) than the one from round 2 (3 players in common), won its game and recovered the first place.

Olimpija Ljubljana finally won a match, and both goal scorers David Sualehe and Nukic came from the subs bench.

They must win their next match against LOSC as well otherwise they'll be eliminated.

They both advanced from this group as expected, and now they'll have an indirect fight for the first spot.

Slovan Bratislava can only get it if and only if they win and LOSC doesn't, otherwise LOSC will keep it.

Last season 11 points was enough for Slovan Bratislava to win its Conference League group, but this season 11 surely won't be enough, and even 13 won't be enough if LOSC wins its match.
