Gent managed to hold on to their 2 "gold" strikers Orban and Cuypers. If they don't take 1st place here it will be a shocker.
Gent also shored up their defense with more "quality" players compared to last year.

They sold one defender, Okumu, for 12M€, used part of that money to sign several players. If they got more quality than before and got it for a cheaper price too, that's wonderful.

I was lucky with the draw, I hope for at least some points for Zorya... 2 wins and 1 draw or 1 win and 3 draws will be a good result, regardless of whether this is enough to go further

Daniel Peretz left for Bayern, so now Mishpati on goal. Maccabi Tel-Aviv now has defender Avishay Cohen too, so edited the name of their right winger from just Cohen to Yonatan Cohen.

Gent should have no trouble in getting 1st place. Maccabi Aviv to fight with Zorya for 2nd. I think they'll edge them.

1. Gent
2. Maccabi Tel Aviv
3. Zorya
4. Breidablik

Maccabi Tel Aviv had a great start. Not taking into a consideration the result itself, but the general outcome, coupled with the draw in the other match, gives Maccabi a great head start, and a very good chance to finish in the top two places, even on the firt place.
What a change from Haifa's schedule...

Expected win for Maccabi Tel-Aviv.

It was actually the smallest win in their Conference League history, "only" 3-2. The others were 5-0 against HJK, 4-1 against Alashkert and 3-0 against HJK.
