Worst prediction in this thread
How can you tell that after only 2 rounds? :?

Fenerbahçe already has 6 points, on track to win the group as expected.

Spartak Trnava still without points, on track to be eliminated as expected.

Ludogorets and Nordsjaelland with 3 points each, Nordsjaelland with the "advantage" that they only have to play Fenerbahçe once while Ludogorets didn't face Fenerbahçe yet.

Nordsjaelland may have scored 7 goals yesterday but they only got 3 points.

Maybe Nordsjaelland will be this season's "Djurgarden", let's wait and see (actually they can't be "Djurgarden" anymore because they can't win the group undefeated).

Nordsjaelland won as expected, but the margin of the victory was shocking. Once again i hope someone in Bulgaria will win the title instead of Ludogorets: if not this time, when?

The Danish team will most probably qualify (second) with Fenerbahce first.

Nordsjaelland is clearly a team to watch, I saw them live in Bucharest in August and they have an incredible nice style of play. Very offensive, posesion based, a lot of movement in their style.
After eliminating Fcsb they scored 5 vs Partizan and now 7 against Ludogorets. Spartak Trnava should be worried :))

League's not going well for them. 9pts off the top but 2 games in hand. Would be 3rd if they win them.

Congratulations Nordsjaelland! :clapping:

7-1 is the biggest win in the Conference League's history!

They scored 7 goals from only 8 shots on goal, so Padt had a disastrous day. :fingal:

Actually this Padt or Sluga on goal subject is confusing.

CLQR1 vs Ballkani, 1st leg away, GK Padt, 0-2 defeat :bigcross:
CLQR1 vs Ballkani, 2nd leg home, GK Padt, 4-0 win :bigcheck:
CLQR2 vs Olimpija Ljubljana, 1st leg home, GK Padt, 1-1 draw :bigcross:
CLQR2 vs Olimpija Ljubljana, 2nd leg away, GK Padt, 1-2 defeat :bigcross:
ELQR3 vs Astana, 1st leg away, GK Padt, 1-2 defeat :bigcross:
ELQR3 vs Astana, 2nd leg away, GK Sluga, 5-1 win :bigcheck:
ELQR4 vs Ajax, 1st leg home, GK Padt, 1-4 defeat :bigcross:
ELQR4 vs Ajax, 2nd leg away, GK Sluga, 1-0 win :bigcheck:
MD1 vs Spartak Trnava, home, GK Sluga, 4-0 win :bigcheck:

So, prior to this match in Denmark, the situation was that with Padt on goal, Ludogorets had a 1-1-4 record, and with Sluga on goal they had a 3-0-0 record. And their choice for starter is... Padt?! :?

Maybe they would have lost anyway with Sluga on goal, we'll never know, but this is strange to say the least.

The incompetent Ivaylo Petev already left after this defeat in Denmark.

By the way, "nothing special" about what Fenerbahçe is doing, it's just pot 1 team winning against smaller teams. Yet they're the only pot 1 team in Conference League with two wins, so congratulations!

At the moment they're the best pot 4 team in Conference League, the only one with 6 points.

And Spartak Trnava is the worst pot 3 team, they have 0 points and a -7GD, worse than Olimpija Ljubljana that also has 0 points but a -6GD.

Fenerbahçe is the best team in Conference League, 9 points and +5GD.

Ludogorets changed manager, Ivaylo Petev and Georgi Dermendzhiev arrived, they improved, shorter defeat against Fenerbahçe, "only" 1-3, Fenerbahçe only scored the third in the 93rd minute, in a match where Ludogorets had more shots, more shots on goal and more corner kicks. But at the end of the day the only thing that matters is that Ludogorets lost once again, and they need points if they still intend to progress from this group.

Bosnian-Serbian-Croatian connection, Balkan trio in Fenerbahce. Edin Džeko treats Dušan Tadić and Dominik Livaković with lunch after scoring a hat trick. On the left is Džeko's friend, former BIH representative Eldin Adilović! https://zadarskilist.novilist.hr/sport/ ... tko-casti/

Little vacillation for Nordsjaelland, but this tie with Trnava can be crucial. The Danish club will face difficult matches.

Congratulations Ludogorets! :bouncy:

Round 4 was perfect for them.

Firstly Nordsjaelland couldn't win its home match against Spartak Trnava.

Then they won against Fenerbahçe, the "unstoppable best team in Conference League", and they won the head-to-head too!

Now if they can win their next match against an already eliminated Spartak Trnava, then they'll reach the last round in second place no matter what happens in the Nordsjaelland vs Fenerbahçe.

If Fenerbahçe loses in Denmark then Ludogorets catches Fenerbahçe and in order to stay above them they'll only need to win their round 6 match at home against an already qualified Nordsjaelland.

And if Fenerbahçe doesn't lose in Denmark, then Ludogorets catches Nordsjaelland and in order to stay above them they'll only have to avoid defeat against them at home in round 6.

So far Dzeko didn't play a single minute, he was an unused sub in all four matches.

In a few months he went from starter in a CL finalist to bench warmer in Conference League.

What's happening? Is there some clause in his contract which says that for every time that he plays a Conference League match Fenerbahçe must pay him extra 10M€!? :?

Nordsjaelland won't be already qualified with a win over Fenerbahçe. If that happens :

Nordsjaelland 10
Ludogorets 9
Fenerbahçe 9

Last MD Ludogorets v Nordsjaelland

Fenerbahçe will qualify with a win at home against Spartak Trnava even if they lose in Denmark.

what kind of jinx is this :sigh:

-------------------

The results in the last matches may lead to strange final standings.

If Fenerbahçe + Ludogorets win with 1 goal difference, Nordsjaelland will be out with 10points +10 GD
If Fenerbahçe win with 1 goal difference and Nordsjaelland draw, Fenerbahçe will be group winner with negative goal difference.
If Fenerbahçe+Ludogorets win their respective games with 1-0 then Ludogorets will be group winner with 0 GD

Terrible. After that blistering Turkish start Besiktas totally collapsed and now Fenerbahce must win their last game to surely qualify. Still all could end up pretty good if Galatasaray reach the last 16 or even the EL. Good luck!
