Brazil are six-time FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup champions (2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2017, 2024) after beating Italy in the final, who could not win their first world title as they lost their third final (2008, 2019, 2024) and second final to Brazil.

IR Iran defeated Belarus to finish third and matched their 2017 bronze medal, while Belarus still had their best ever finish with fourth place.
