The highest coefficient will be used if the previous round has not been completed yet.vkgz wrote: ↑Mon Mar 04, 2024 22:42 For example, if the servette is eliminated in the 3rd round of the European League, does he participate in the conference league play-off round with his own coefficient or with the points of the team he was eliminated from? In this case, the Excel file seems to be faulty.

No, actually for dropping into a lower tournament, the lowest coefficient will be used, not the highest, that's a new change from next year.Forza AZ wrote: ↑Mon Mar 04, 2024 22:58The highest coefficient will be used if the previous round has not been completed yet.vkgz wrote: ↑Mon Mar 04, 2024 22:42 For example, if the servette is eliminated in the 3rd round of the European League, does he participate in the conference league play-off round with his own coefficient or with the points of the team he was eliminated from? Yes. This is the thread: https://x.com/dpnina10/status/1750716092417179834?s=20
Why is Crvena Zvezda shown in the UCL-Q3nc?
I have a couple of questions concerning the Europa League sheet:
1. In the Excel file it seems there are 20 teams in the Q1 EL round, while here: https://kassiesa.net/uefa/AccessList2024.html it is expected that 16 will enter the competition at that stage.
2. Also, according to the above-mentioned access list, a team from Belgium is supposed to enter the competition from Q2 as Belgium is expected to have two teams in the pre-group stage qualifying matches. However, in the Excel file such a second Belgian club is not present.
Is there a good explanation about these discrepancies, or these are mistakes that will be fixed in an updated version of the file?

Easiest one is 2). Brugge has the highest coefficient in the last 8 remaining teams in ECL so is considered ECL-TH. They are currently 4th in Belgium, so the ELQ2 spot "disappears".Papen83 wrote: ↑Tue Mar 19, 2024 11:15 I have a couple of questions concerning the Europa League sheet:

For 1) this is tricky. We don't know how UEFA will rebalance the access list in this case. Will they promote 2 teams from ELQ1 to ELQ2 or promote 4 CW from ECL to EL?
I do not see why would Belgium lose its additional spot in EL qualifying rounds. If Brugge wins ECL it would directly start from the groups and that's it. Why would this impact the qualifying rounds access of the rest of the Belgian clubs?
Brugge wins ECL AND is 4th. If Brugge ends 5th instead (and wins the ECL ticket), there would be no belgian team in ECL. If Brugge ends 6th, then Belgium would have 6 teams in Europe.
Unless there's a hard limit for 2 teams/country in the competition that's what I'd expect as well.
