For Atalanta it's better for the moment to avoid Sporting and Benfica. Anything else would be acceptable.

For Milan and Roma it's better to avoid Liverpool and Bayer Leverkusen, but the English team is having a busy schedule and has a tough month of March ahead, so i don't know if the EL is a priority for them.

Anyway, on the seeded side of the draw the weakest link should be the trio Villarreal-Slavia-Rangers, with a big question mark on West Ham (they seems to be in an awful form).

On the unseeded side, Qarabag should be the weakest team.

Liverpool are too strong so I would like to see Rangers as Qarabag's opponent. All the big names (Milan, Benfica, Marseille, Roma, Sporting) on the same side as them. No Leverkusen please, they're in the same group.

Leverkusen - Qarabag? They're in the same group, no. Zero chance for Qarabag, a bit more against Rangers.

For Leverkusen I would like Sparta Praha or OM. Roma would be a chance for a revenge with a much better Leverkusen compared to previous season, but who knows, Roma always find a way to advance, so better not. Also not Milan, they are beatable as Dortmund showed, but they also have potential to shock everyone including Liverpool. And Sporting would probably be more difficult than Benfica at the moment. So lets say first priority is to avoid the Italians, even though they don't have to fear anyone in this pot.

For Freiburg I want Rangers or Slavia. I expect Klopp. He is a magnet for German teams in draws if possible.

:sigh:

At least Leverkusen avoided Milan, Milan dodged a bullet with getting Slavia instead.

Leverkusen with a must win against Qarabag, as they beat them twice in the GS.
Freiburg's tie difficult and boring: West Ham again. In the home game they were the better team and lost, but in London it was a one-sided West Ham win.

Yes, that's awful

Good draw for Milan, average for Roma, difficult for Atalanta.

At the end Slavia instead of Qarabag got Milan, quite a difference!

Nightmare draw for the 2 Prague teams, they drew the biggest name from each pot!

Scotland with a slight advantage for 10th now but it might come down to Plzen's draw.

Both German clubs will face their Group Stage opponents and I think they should be happy: Leverkusen is the absolute favourite and Freiburg is a better team than West Ham, they were deserving 1st place in the Group in my view.

Stupid draw! :sigh:

Freiburg and West Ham meet again, Sporting and Atalanta meet again, Qarabag and Leverkusen meet again!

Teams coming from the same group shouldn't meet at this stage.

At least in the Conference League the probability of this happening will be much lower.

The chances for both Czech clubs to draw the biggest name possible was 1 out of 49 (1 out of 7 each).

And it happened.
