João Palhinha (Belenenses) and Ryan Gauld and André Geraldes (Vit. Setúbal) -> Sporting (all recalled early from loan).

I hope the last 2 are returning to play and not just out of sore losing (Sporting lost in Setúbal yesterday and are out of the League Cup).

Why Chinese clubs are breaking transfer records – and why players are wise to go
Oscar gave up benchwarming at Chelsea to quadruple his wages and become one of the biggest stars in a continent of four billion people. Is that so bad?

I read China might put regulations to limit this crazy spending.

How could this even happen? This Trabzonspor side is one of the weakest ever (in 16 league games they lost 8, 3 draws and only 5 wins - scored 12 goals - the second worst attack after Akhisar (11) and conceded 20..) and they are currently in the 14th position out of 18 :S
Trabzonspor seem to need to strengthen themselves.
+
Sporting wanted to get rid of him.
+
João Pereira will probably earn (and play) more in Trabzon.

So why not? If there's something surprising about this, is that it seems to be a free transfer. Couldn't Sporting get 1 million € or so for him?
Sportively it's a terrible choice, maybe that is just for money but I doubt that Trabzon would pay high salaries. Maybe he spoke with Bosingwa before coming.

Chinese clubs are not breaking any records. Records still remain for European clubs. + Chinese clubs are allowed only for 4 foreigners, so there will be no more space after this transfer window.
Just compare Chinese and English clubs.. Who is wasting money? English club have 35 players in their roster. All overpaid. Even 2nd pleague english teams are paying 10m € for random english players.

Reports here it's punishment by Jorge Jesus, but..Scottish media.

That's some unbelievably stupid and toxic shit if true. He's screwing over his own players and club for petty revenge.

Quote of the week
Bayern president and paroled €27.2m tax evasion convict Uli Hoeness – upset by China’s top clubs taking an unfair financial advantage. “It’s sick, it’s just sick. I just hope it doesn’t turn out as bad as it looks at the moment.”

• Helping China’s long-term model while their clubs pay Oscar £400k a week, Axel Witsel £85m over five years and Carlos Tevez £1 a second: George Osborne’s 2015 deal to invest £3m of UK public money into Chinese grassroots football. Osborne: “This is just one example of the ways we can work together with China to benefit both our nations – I look forward to seeing the results.”

Paul-Georges Ntep had his best season in Ligue 1 2014/15 when he scored 9 times in 35 matches. This season, at halftime, he played 15 matches and only scored 2 goals. May he have better stats in Germany.....

He had some problems with injuries according to "kicker.de", but in his best shape, I think he was a very important player for his team. Even Bayern wanted him two years (?) ago.

Better stats? Possible. It doesn't mean anything. His stats would be better in Barcelona as well, next to Messi and Suarez. And of course the Bundesliga is an offensive league with many counter attacks, so good for quick players.

Galatasaray got Garry Rodrigues from PAOK (3,5 m € transfer fee according to Turkish media)
while the transfer is almost compete , it is not yet finished since PAOK wants to find a replacement before finalising the transfer(it is very probable that it will be finished within the week)
the fee is indeed 3.5 m and according to greek media PAOK will keep a 10% if Galatasaray sells the player for more than 3.5 millions.
