Marseille - Juventus 2- 0 attendance : 55 000 for a friendly !.....and they both played like it would have been the CL final. Well, this would be a great result if they'll meet in EL this year.....

Barça's pre-season looks like this (without Bravo, Alves, Neymar, Messi, Mascherano)

Barça 2, L.A. Galaxy 1

Barça 1, Manchester U. 3

Barça 2, Chelsea 2 (Barça lost on pk's)

Barça 1, Fiorentina 2

Barça :?: , Roma :?: As far as I'm able to tell, this game is NOT being offered on television on any of the channels offered by my provider :(

Hope Barça can put it together in a hurry as the Copa América players become available to participate--they play Sevilla in the European Supercup on 11 August, and Athletic Bilbao in the Spanish Supercup on 14 August (in San Mamés) and 17 August (in the Camp Nou).

Audi Cup, first semifinal

Real Madrid 2, Tottenham 0 Goal by James at 36' assisted by Isco (I think). Bale made it 2-0 with a solo job at 79'. Both Marco Asensio and Borja Mayoral debuted with Real.

Audi Cup, second semifinal

Bayern Munich 3, Milan 0 Juan Bernat puts Bayern ahead at 24' (with deflection included  ). Gotze at 74' and Lewandowski at 85' finished off the scoring.

Audi Cup, third place game

Tottenham 2, Milan 0 Tottenham wins the consolation game with goals by Chadli at 8' and Thomas Carroll at 71'.

Audi Cup, Final

Real Madrid 0, Bayern Munich 1 And more "deja vu all over again" (see below) as Bayern wins by one goal, by Lewandowski at 88'. I wasn't able to see the second half, doggone it :!:

For me, this tournament is "deja vu all over again" :!: In August of 2002, I traveled to Madrid for the Real Madrid Torneo Centenario. The competing teams were Real, Bayern, Milan, and . . . Liverpool: three of the same teams that are competing in the Audi Cup, plus a different team from England. The semifinals: Real beat Liverpool; Bayern beat Milan. Final: Bayern beat Real 2-1. We'll see if the "deja vu all over again" continues today . . .

Bayern München 3-0 AC Milan
1-0 Juan Bernat 24'
2-0 Mario Götze 74'
3-0 Robert lewandowski 85'

From what I've seen, it was quite a lame game. :dontknow: Bayern fielded a B team in the first half.

Tomorrow's games at the Audi Cup:
18:15 Tottenham Hotspur v AC Milan (3rd place play-off)
20:45 Bayern München v Real Madrid (final)

I watched Bayern v Milan on TV and had Ajax v Rapid running on my laptop. But the stream was shaky and I was merely interested in the result, rather than the game itself.

If you REALLY think that's any of YOUR business . . . functional streams are VERY hard to come by. When I can watch TV on a large screen with no interference, I will sometimes prefer that (unless it's the Spanish league that's on stream . . . ) :P :P :P

Yeah, me too. Most unofficial streams tend to be shaky. They keep freezing and buffering etc. And when you're using dodgy websites you never know what kind of viruses you're going to catch. So for me, it will usually be TV or official streams, unless it's a game that I desperately want to watch.

Barça 3, Roma 0 in the Joan Gamper Trophy game. Goals by Ney and Messi in the first half, Rakitic in the second half. And now we head to the ones that count, at least for something a little more serious--the European and the Spanish Supercups comin' right up :!: :!:

Excellent quality highlights video of this game available at www.fcbarcelona.com. Nine minutes long.
