Re: "Small leagues"

Maccabi Tel Aviv almost clinched the Premier league title, after winning in a "match of the season" against Maccabi Haifa.
Maccabi Tel Aviv now have 8 points over Haifa, while there are 9 more potential points.

Re: Domestic Cups

The Israeli cup final will be played on 30.5, between Hapoel Be'er Sheva (currently 3rd on the league table) and Maccabi Petach Tikva (who fought against relegation and was saved). I'm hoping for a win of Be'er Sheva, who is a much bigger club with more fans (although Petach Tikva is my hometown). I...

Re: Promotions and Relegations 2024

Hapoel Tel Aviv, one of the biggest 3 clubs in Israeli football, with 13 championship titles, had dropped today to the 2nd division.
I'm hoping that they will return quickly to the top division.

Re: Portugal won the Eurovision?

It's really unfair, the incident was really minor, no physical violence, no slur. EBU has created a shitshow and it's not only about the Dutch DQ. How do you know what really happened? From my point of view - If there wasn't physical contact, the disqualification was too harsh. If there was a physi...

Re: What other sports do you follow?

AS Monaco and Barcelona lost their home-court advantage, so the Final Four in Berlin is: Real Madrid vs Oly Pana vs Fenerbahçe Usually they would make it like this: Real vs. Fenerbahce PAO vs. Oly Why not this time? There is no reseeding, the pairs are predetermined. Winner of 1v8 (Real-Baskonia) v...

Re: Portugal won the Eurovision?

Israel has a good song this year.
The political situation may decide, but in the end, usually good songs win.

Let’s see if Fenerbahçe will also make it today.

The 18,000 tickets for the Pana-Maccabi match 5 were sold within 6 hours!
Yes, great series so far between Maccabi and PAO.

Re: 2023/24 Champions League quarter-finals, semi-finals and final

Greek broadcaster just said that: Bayern - Real April 30th/May 8th Dortmund - Paris May 1st/May 7th Edit: Confirmed also in UEFA website. It seems that the most lucrative tie is always first leg Tuesday - second leg on Wednesday. Both German teams play at home first? :upset: They should switch one ...
