Re: Coach Transfers
According to Mundo Deportivo, Zidane is the new top favorite and one step away from joining Bayern. Never trust them, it was completely wrong. Bayern wanted Xabi Alonso, then Nagelsmann back. Both wanted to stay. So Bayern thought "lets take Rangnick!". Everything seemed to be clear, it w...

Re: What other sports do you follow?
it's Thai/Horner vs. Marko/Verstappen. A pity they have to get against eachother. If Max leaves, who will ride the rocket car then? Will he be good enough to be champion? It would be nice to see how good Max is with another one in the RB and Max in another car... I wonder when the decisions will be...

Re: 2023/24 Champions League quarter-finals, semi-finals and final
Fantastic games for Bundesliga teams Bayern and Dortmund despite being heavy underdogs. They earned the right to dream about the final. I guess Bayern have much better odds about winning in Madrid than Dortmund holding the draw in Paris, though. Any finalist would be awesome but at least the consol...

Re: 2023/24 Champions League quarter-finals, semi-finals and final
Very interesting match. First half with no so many chances, PSG looked stronger, playing the ball in Borussia's half without threatening the goal but was Borussia to score a great goal. In second half PSG started better again, pressuring, and then the game broke with wasted chances on both goals. In...

Re: What other sports do you follow?
Its official: Adrian Newey will leave Red Bull at the end of the season, Red Bull announced it itself. Now Ferrari or Mercedes who is trying to sign with 2 Newey's disciples from RB. Seems a revolution ongoing on Red Bull and its the end of an era (Marko-Horner-Newey triumvirate). Without Newey, Ma...

All Bayern CB's look weak: De Ligt, Uppamecano, Kim. All weak players or bad coaching?

Re: What other sports do you follow?
yea, of course there is 1 the best driver of the day, but he's getting boring beng also in the best car. So the next best is chosen. good for Norris.. Maybe he won't be in the best car for much longer. Newey is leaving Red Bull: https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/articles/cmm3v9ny78eo Rumors are that Newe...

Re: Portuguese football season 2023-24
Porto are currently (55') winning 2-0 over Sporting... title race reopened? :grin1: They just need 2 wins out of 3 matches against easy teams, 2 matches home where they only have wins. Sporting doesn't win at porto for ages. Kind of expected this result. And Porto losses a secure win in just 1 minu...

FC Porto presidengial elections: former coach André Villas Boas was elected new president putting end of Pinto da Costa era (42 consecutive years as president). 26.741 people took part in the elections. Villas Boas won in all 44 voting sections. Looks a massive win. Lack of transparency, huge debts...

Re: Max number of clubs per association in European football
I've been wondering for some time if it would maybe make sense to determine the access list and number of teams not by place in the ranking, but by total coefficient points. Maybe somthing like: 0 - 3 points (San Marino) 1 CL + 1 UECL 3 - 6 ( Gibraltar, Montenegro, Wales, Andorra) 1CL + 2 UECL 6 - ...

Re: LaLiga 2023-2024 (First Division)
The standard is “clear and obvious error”, you said “or at least watch the images” this leaves room that it wasn’t an error, for sure short of “clear and obvious”. Again while I agree that some CRs might not call it a PK, the majority would call it a PK even after watching the video in slow motion....
