Re: FIFA Series 2024™️
I notice if there are two teams from the same confederation in the a series, that two teams will play against each other. I think this is for ensuring each team facing teams from different confederations in the two matches.

Re: Friendlies
FIFA Series has always seemed a ridiculous idea since it was first mentioned towards the end of 2022. Fostering continental rivalry would be a much better approach. There are already enough of matches within a continent for qualifiers? Not in continents like Asia where there is a single qualifying ...

Smaller groups may reduce the number of dead rubberWitkop1983 wrote: ↑Thu Feb 08, 2024 16:58 I don't understand why UEFA decided to make smaller groups. It will just be even more luck-based than it was with groups of 6.
Shouldn't it be UEFA's goal to send the best teams to the WC?

Re: Swiss System for Europa League and Conference League

I didn't like that at all. Yes, these are also 2 significant improvements. The loss of the draws at ...

Let's make an overview. There are 35 concacaf members affiliated with fifa. Apart from 3 host nations, there are 32 remaining teams. Let me repeat it. 32 teams playing those qualifying campaign. Anybody who was involved in organizing sport competition hardly can immagine a number less ideal than 32...

Re: UEFA Nations League 2024-25
So actually that means if in A/B playooff i.e. two matches are won by 3rd placed League A teams and 2 matches are won by League B runners-up, then final overall ranking will place playoff winners who will remain in League A at positions 9 and 10, then promoted League B group winners will be placed ...

If UEFA used this way to determine the overall rankings in the previous edition, England's ranking would change from 15 to 19 lol
