"Croatia announced pre-EURO warm-up friendlies.
1 June 2021: Croatia - Armenia
6 June 2021: Belgium - Croatia
Armenia was one of 5 European teams we've never played against.
Now there are only four left: Albania, Montenegro, Faroe Islands, Luxembourg."

Bosnia and Herzegovina are the strongest UEFA team England have never played. Also yet to play Armenia, Faroe Islands, Gibraltar and Latvia. So that's 49/54.nogomet wrote: ↑Fri Dec 18, 2020 18:36That is interesting. Belgium - Ukraine may be the strongest fixture in Europe that has never taken place.Gorandinho wrote: ↑Fri Dec 18, 2020 16:58 Belgium has never played Georgia, Kosovo, Liechtenstein, Moldova, Belarus, Ukraine.

Looking at the rest of that list, Ivory Coast, Senegal and Iran are competing with Bosnia and Herzegovina for strongest never faced. Maybe even Venezuela.
El Salvador is best CONCACAF.

Bulgaria is 53, we haven't played only the Faroers and Lichtenstein . As a bonus we have played Croatia before and after the breaķ-up of Yugoslavia and Slovakia before and after Czechoslovakia. Both during WW2. We have of course also played GDR, Yugoslavia and USSR as brotherhood countries and twice GB.Soccerkid999 wrote: ↑Fri Dec 18, 2020 16:53Bulgaria 44Soccerkid999 wrote: ↑Fri Dec 18, 2020 16:49How shall we do that?nogomet wrote: ↑Fri Dec 18, 2020 16:44
I count only 46 opponents here:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/San_Marin ... tball_team
They're still 8 opponents short.
So the ranking in the number of UEFA opponents NT have faced (or scheduled to face) is currently:
50 Croatia
46 San Marino
Let's try to complete this ranking.

50/54 for Republic of Ireland. We have never met Slovenia, Kosovo , Ukraine and Azerbaijan. We will meet Azerbaijan next year. We have also never met Greece and Belarus in competitive games however have played friendlies with them.
52 then. There are 54 possible UEFA opponents for every team.Todor wrote: ↑Fri Dec 18, 2020 21:10Bulgaria is 53, we haven't played only the Faroers and Lichtenstein . So it seems Estonia is the record holder, with 53?
Ha-ha, yes. I just subtracted 2 from 55. But we also played Catalonia oncenogomet wrote: ↑Fri Dec 18, 2020 21:2052 then. It's interesting that Estonia is a relatively new country and yet managed to play almost all the UEFA members. Maybe they count matches before 1939 as well.
