0-0 in Molde. Gent should be most happy about that. Molde the better team. Especially in the second half.

Shamrock Rovers' undefeated home record still stands with a 0-0 vs Djurgardens.

Slavia missed a penalty in added time and wasted 2 points.
Great result for Sivasspor.

Not a night with a lot of surprises, I would say the biggest happened in Florence. 1-1 for the Latvian champions, it's something to be proud in their debut game in the group stages.

Vaduz also still unbeaten is something to note for.

Lech despite the loss also deserves a special word, though Spanish teams know how to score in the last minutes... as shown yesterday in the CL.

And it s done 3 - 1 for West Ham. You can t expect the 13th team in romanian league to do better than this I guess. They did good until the penalty, but the pressure was to much and they couldn t keep up, the attack should have releaved some of the pressure but on the few occassion FCSB attacked West Ham was dangerous on the counter.
This game does give me some hope they will put on a fight for the qualification and they can do better than what have shown until now this seasson. If only they have made the transders in time and brought the coach before the start of the championship.

Wasted two points by Slavia today... Instead of winning easily 3-1 or 4-1 it was a festival of blocked shots and wasted chances. I am quite pissed about what I saw.

Zalgiris getting a point away to Slovan also noteworthy. Liechtenstein ad Lithuania's debutants both not losing. Zalgiris can go for qualification to the KO stage! Great results for the Baltic clubs!

The night matches had very few goals.

Zalgiris, Vaduz, Shamrock Rovers and Sivasspor get points.

And Union St.Gilloise won in Berlin against the German Union also a big surprise.

I don't know... is it? Union Berlin could not pass last year ECL group stages, I don't think the expectations should be bigger in the EL. And more importantly Union Giloise almost won the Belgium League last year, and these season almost knocked Rangers out of the CL play-offs.

I see Union Giloise having a good run these season the EL, similar to what Royal Antwerp did a few years ago. An old glory is awakes.
