Milan completed the squad in the last day. Aster Vranckx from Wolfsburg for 2 millions loan and 12 million option (it can become an obligation after 20 matches). He will probably be 4-5th choice for the double pivot. Krunic might be preferred there in the beginning even if that is not his natural position. He is the 4 th belgian player in Milan squad. Just behind the 6 italians and the 5 french players + 3 africans with french citizenship.
I thought this will mean Bakayoko will leave as he hasn't played at all despite some injuries in his position, the problem with Bakayoko is that he also has an obligation to buy if he reaches a number of matches this season and they really don't seem to want to make the deal permanent, his salary is one of the largest in the squad.

Florenzi injury forced Milan to bring Sergino Dest from Barca. he will come on a loan with a 20 millions option. I can't imagine them activating the option unless he has a spectacular season. the salary is fully covered by Milan and is one of the largest in the squad. Milan have in the RB position the captain Calabria, the injured Florenzi and I would like to also see Kalulu there, but he is needed for the CB position this season.

I am surprised that AC Milan managed to keep both Theo Hernandez and Leao in the squad.

Premier League -1.35 BILLIONS Euros
La Liga...............-52 million Euros
Serie A...............+8 million Euros
Bundesliga..........+45 million Euros
Ligue 1..............+40 million Euros

This is RIDICULOUS.

The financial gap between England and everyone else keeps growing, and I can't see how this will stop.
At this point it's like they (the PL clubs) are playing a different sport, it's crazy.

I see no way to change this. The only good thing is they are wasting a lot of money on the english players so they spend only a fraction on bring new talent from abroad, the problem is that fraction is 1.35 billion more than the rest. Imagine if they didn't overpay on the internal market, they could grab even more talent and after that their marketing revenues would continue to increase even more compared to the rest.

Batshuayi (Chelsea) -> Fenerbahçe for 3.5m€

I was so happy when we got rid of him last season, can't believe Fenerbahçe signed him.

Meanwhile, Maxi Gomez (Valencia) joined Trabzon to replace Cornelius
And Icardi (PSG) is expected to play for Galatasaray, almost done deal according to Turkish media.

They also signed Dries Mertens (Napoli), Lucas Torreira (Arsenal), Sérgio Oliveira (Porto), Seferovic (Benfica) etc.

Great for the Turkish league to have this kind of players I guess, but personally I am not fan at all to pay so much money for big names at the end of their careers. I am glad Besiktas don't do this anymore.

Some of them are not so old, like the last three you had mentioned and Icardi. He's only 29 years old.
But I like in my teams to have home grown players, that I can relate to.

Are they paying all of Icardi's wages though if he's on loan? Not sure how much Mata is getting, by not likely to be more than he got in England.

Impossible to pay all his salary, obviously :sigh:
Galatasaray "only" pays 750k€, while PSG will pay the rest (6m€)

Mata will get 1.9m€ for this season.
