It's a very smart time allocation, European teams don't play in the super bad time slot (in the middle of the night) with the weird exception of USA-Netherlands (which is also a derby, so it should have been scheduled later).
The US matches are tuned for the evening time in the States (from 7 to 12 pm), including the Last 16 and Last 8 matches in case they win their group.
The USA-Netherlands match will be played at 9pm on the US East Coast, so that is prime time for the US audience, and the US TV market is obviously more important than the Dutch.
In fact, if you look at the Qatar World Cup schedule, USA is the only team where all three group matches are played at the late window (8pm CET or 2pm US East Coast), because FIFA wants the best time to ensure a larger US audience. Fox (the US TV station holding the rights for the men’s and women’s World Cup) paid big money, and FIFA certainly are catering to them, especially with the next World Cup in US.
And coincidentally, the England vs USA match will be played on 25 November, the day after Thanksgiving (called Black Friday), which is the best day to get a big audience with most people on holiday (even better than Thanksgiving day itself since there are NFL games on that day). One may even possibly suggest there may be a fix in the draw, but of course we know FIFA never fix draws.
The Finalissima will be played at Wembley in April!!!

I had thought they might be tempted by the lure of a full Wembley for the inaugural Finalissima...
Let's GO!!! Let's win another trophy there!!!

it is not jus a derby. Its a replay of the previous WC final. Some people would say that these are the best teams of the world, as they were the last 2 to fight for the title last time. I know better. USA is not anymore what they used to be(unbeatable) and Netherlands isn't that step ahead anymore and just a team that belong on the WC, but has no real chance on winning the title
I guess it might be the match I will be staying up late for (or tape and watch at breafast, before reading the internet)

The Arnold Clark Cup is now fully pencilled in:
Thursday, 16 February
Italy v Belgium, Stadium MK
England v Korea Republic, Stadium MK
Sunday, 19 February
England v Italy, venue TBC
Belgium v Korea Republic, venue TBC
Wednesday, 22 February
Korea Republic v Italy, Ashton Gate
England v Belgium, Ashton Gate
These are good teams, but not the World class teams we had last time. I wonder if it's by design or a consequence of not being able to sort out the Arnold Clark Cup until we knew what was happening with the Finalissima.

Germany continued the compounding of USA's misery, going there and winning 1-2. With a second friendly to come, can they do it again, and make it a 4 game losing streak for the US?
Russo hits the post in our friendly with Japan. We're on top mostly.
Daly slots in the opening goal after Japan screw up at the back under pressure and give it straight to her.
Chloe Kelly is really doing well on the left wing delivering dangerous crosses.

Kelly from the wing thunders the ball into the top corner, 2-0!
She has the bit between her teeth today!

@Lorric, please put these comments in a 'Friendlies' topic or so. I expect here news about the WorklCup, not about all the friendlies all teams will play until then.
Thanks
Thanks
England open up Japan on the left and Toone with the low shot bouncing off the far post and in, 3-0 to a dominant England!
But the World Cup is ages away. We've been posting stuff about friendlies in the topic about the upcoming tournament for a long time. No one ever puts female stuff in the friendlies thread.
