2:0 at the break. This would be a massive result for the Hammers and Moyes and probably Lampard's last game for Everton.

2:0 West Ham in El sackico. Everton were 2nd best, a relegation candidate for a good reason. Leicester shared points with Brighton, Aston Villa brought the 3 points away from Southampton and Nottingham levelled late at Bournemouth to take away a crucial point from a direct competitor. Now Newcastle at Crystal Palace!
- The PL is so much more fun when the Scousers are back to 7th/8th.
- Brighton is such a nice team, Mitoma is a star in the making. I hope they manage to finish 5th.
- Forest didn't win today but didn't lose either and continue their upwards trend.
- Everton needs to fire Lampard right now if they want to survive.

Newcastle dropped 2 points at Palace after dominating in every aspect, but scoring goals. 15:2 shots, 7:1 on target, 14:3 corners etc.
Arsenal - Manchester Utd must've been a hell of a game. Arsenal won 3-2!

Arsenal beat MU with a 90th minute goal, though deservedly. 22:6 the shots, 12:4 corners, 58%:42% possession etc. Pretty good game with some great goals. Leeds played out a goalless draw with Brentford, while City beat Wolves 3:0 with 3 Haaland goals.
Second game that we ship a goal at the end of the game. Overall Arsenal deserved the win though.

Things looking pretty good for the gunners. Hope they can hold.

The latest example of Arsenal refusing to accept anything less than victory. 50pts at the halfway mark.
Very pleasant viewing in the highlights, 4/5 goals scored by English players.
Nketiah. Very impressive goalscoring numbers since coming in for Jesus. This guy was a goal machine in the England youth teams, and now he's a goal machine in the Premier League leaders. Still only 23, could we see him scoring goals for England?

It was, although I may be a little biased because of the result, just like one of the old games between the two when they were the big two teams in English football, with both playing at a high level and Arsenal doing enough to justify the win in my opinion.

Fulham - Tottenham 0:1 at the break, Kane scored a nice goal, his 266th and now tied with Jimmy Greaves as the all time Tottenham record scorer. In other news Everton gave themselves a chance to avoid the drop by firing wannabe coach Lampard.

Spurs won a hard fought game 1:0 and now they trail Newcastle and MU only by 3 points, though these 2 both have a game in hand.

Newcastle with one leg in the Carabao cup final after a 1:0 win away at Southampton.
Kane becoming Spurs' all time top goalscorer illustrates the food chain nature of the modern game. It means five of the "Big Six" have an all time top goalscorer who was active this century (Kane, Henry, Rooney, Aguero, Lampard). The only other club for whom this is true is Newcastle, who in their previous moneyed phase signed Alan Shearer for a world record fee in 1996. Anyone else with a promising goalscorer has them gobbled up by a bigger fish. Sometimes they become a key player like Rooney or Mane, more often they become a spare part like Rickie Lambert or Wilfred Bony.
