Next in line for vacancy:
AZ (title holders)
In accordance with Articles 3.03 to 3.05 of the 2023/24 UEFA Youth League regulations, if the domestic youth champion of one of the 32 best-ranked associations has also qualified for the competition through the UEFA Champions League, it will enter the UEFA Champions League path of the UEFA Youth League, while the first place in the domestic champions path will be vacated and filled by the UEFA Youth League titleholder unless they have otherwise qualified. Any additional vacancy will be filled by the next association in the coefficient rankings whose domestic youth champion has not already qualified (see Annex A of the UEFA Youth League regulations). Consequently, associations ranked 34 or below who are interested in entering a domestic youth champion in the UEFA Youth League are invited to complete the form(s) accordingly. However, participation is subject to the principles set out in Articles 3.03 to 3.05 of the UEFA Youth League regulations. The final access list for the UEFA Youth League will be communicated to all parties only after the UEFA Champions League play-offs, when all the participants in both UEFA Youth League paths are known.

2023/24 UEFA Youth League dates, format
https://www.uefa.com/uefayouthleague/ne ... gue-dates/
The tenth edition of the UEFA Youth League runs from 19 September to the four-team finals on 19 and 22 April.
The UEFA Youth League reaches its tenth edition in 2023/24, with 64 teams competing for the title.
The contenders are split into two paths in the autumn, the UEFA Champions League path and the domestic champions path. They come together for the knockout phase, running from the play-offs on 6 and 7 February to the four-team final tournament between 19 and 22 April. The full list of contenders in both paths will be confirmed after the UEFA Champions League play-offs end on 30 August.
Format
The 32 clubs that compete in the UEFA Champions League path will be those that take part in the group stage of the senior competition. They are joined by the 32 domestic youth champions from the highest-ranked entering associations whose senior team did not qualify for the Champions League group stage – these clubs take part in the domestic champions path. If the senior team of a domestic youth champion did qualify for the Champions League group stage, the vacant place is filled by the domestic youth champions of the next-ranked entering association.
The groups in the Champions League path will be identical to those for the senior competition. The group winners will progress directly to the round of 16, with the runners-up going into the play-offs.
The domestic champions path teams compete in two rounds of two-legged knockout ties. The eventual eight second-round winners then progress to the play-offs.
The knockout phase consists of one-off ties starting with the play-offs, where the eight domestic champions path winners will each be at home against one of the eight Champions League path group runners-up.
The eight play-off winners then join the eight Champions League path group winners in the round of 16. The semi-finals and final are played at a single venue.

Wondering are finals back in Nyon, in Geneva or somewhere else altogether, maybe outside Switzerland for the 1st time?
Greece: Olympiacos won the U19 Superleague Greece.
They will start for the 1st time in Domestic Champions Path since the only scenario for the A team to enter UCL GS is:
Panathinaikos or AEK to lose all their remaining games.
Olympiacos to win all their remaining games.
If they will be tied with Pana they also need to win their h2h with a 3+ goal margin.
After that qualify starting in Q2nc

It is unlikely Manchester City's grip on the U18 Premier League will be broken as the final will be played at the Etihad on the 10th May at 7pm.

Don't know how they decide it, one of the teams does though. Southampton got it at home last time against City. City had it at the Academy Stadium the year before against Fulham.

With it being North v South is it in North one year and South the next on a rotation basis to make it fair?Lorric wrote: ↑Sat May 06, 2023 00:41Don't know how they decide it, one of the teams does though.
