Leverkusen are too strong for this group. 2nd spot between Qarabag and Molde. Hacken can only dream about 3rd place.

Congratulations Leverkusen!
They already progressed from this group with 2 games to spare.
And unlike Liverpool and Roma that both lost their fourth match, Leverkusen keeps winning!
They're in a winning streak of 4 EL matches, the longest in their EL history alongside other two, one from 2020 (Porto x2 and Rangers x2) and the other also from 2020 (Hapoel Beer-Sheva x2, Nice and Slavia Praha).
This group has both the best team in EL, Leverkusen, and the worst team in EL, Häcken.
Last season Malmö finished bottom of its EL group with 0 points and -8GD, it was the worst ever Swedish participation. Let's see if this season Häcken won't be even worse.

Qarabag are in the driving seat. They just have to match Molde's result in the last round. They've the H2H and play Hacken in Baku, while Molde travel to Leverkusen.bugylibicska wrote: ↑Fri Nov 10, 2023 20:11Leverkusen won the group. Qarabag is in a great position to finally finish top 2 in an EL group, in attempt #8.
They can do it with a win against Häcken, or with a draw if Molde doesn't win in Germany, or even with a defeat if Molde also loses.
Yet perhaps this isn't over yet.
Molde won 6 of its last 12 EL away matches, and two of these wins were in Germany against Stuttgart and Hoffenheim.
And Qarabag won only 2 of its last 12 EL home matches (Nantes 2022 and Molde this season).

Congratulations Leverkusen for being the best team in EL group stages!
Congratulations Qarabag for finally advancing from an EL group, in attempt #8.
They even launched fireworks after their match against Häcken was over. It's normal, this is a milestone in the club's history.
And well done Molde for getting the third place!
Häcken was the worst team in EL, and the worst ever Swedish team in EL history.
Swedish clubs are currently in a losing streak of 14 EL defeats: Malmö's 8 defeats in 2020-2022, and now Häcken's 6 defeats.
I was right about Leverkusen first and Häcken last, and wrong about the rest.

Initial prediction
Actual tableBayer Leverkusen look like they have a very good team this season. They should win this group with no problems, unless they try to play with a weaker team because they think this group is that easy. Qarabag have a good side too and should be 2nd. Hacken and Molde to fight for the Conference League.
1. Leverkusen
2. Qarabag
3. Molde
4. Hacken
Got this one right. I am surprised Qarabag have never managed to qualify from a Europa League group before, but they did it this time. Leverkusen were way better than everyone else as expected. Hacken were awful. Their participation was pointless and they may as well have gone out in the qualifiers as they added 0 coefficient points for their nation.1. Leverkusen
2. Qarabag
3. Molde
4. Hacken
